I went to read the story of the TW drama and IMO the female lead should have the most screen time because the story all revolves around her imagination, unless this director add more scenes to LXY to match up with female lead because that TW drama is just a few episodes.

The choreography is just sloppy. The special effects are great in TBOY but it's not compulsory there were some other dramas recently without special effects and still good choreography cue Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, Side Story of Fox Volant and even latest Unchained Love , all of them are not mega budget too, no special effects is not an excuse for bad choreography.
