As much as I disliked Baekhyun's role I kind of grew to like him. Don't know if I could stomach Eun's and his wive's death through So's hands. probably not.
Why can't I think of one drama where the female lead is effing rich and he is deadly poor? Or she saves him? What would I do for a drama where not he saves her from getting run over by a car but she does and hold him in her arms?
So someone recommended Boys Over Flowers for "if you liked Boss & Me..."
Seriously no. Don't. If you liked Boss & Me, you won't like Boys Over Flowers. Because B&M is super cute and adorable and BOF is just frustrating and clicheé.
Am i the only one that's thinks that the broter is dead? I think he is the one that was inside the car....
So I don't think this will happen because this is a rom-com. I think most of us watched enough kdramas to know that there will be a plot twist and the brother is actually alive.
BUT your idea would be so mind blowing that I actually don't hate it sooo much. I am though, routing for Louie and Bok Sil and I don't see that happening with a dead brother. So I rather have him all happy and alive so I can be it as well when this ends.
Just finished ep 9. The cover tells me to have hope but seriously that kiss makes me wanna ship Nari and Jungwon
just one ep to go but I'm nervous. I already know they're gonna kiss but I am already in pain bc I don't know if Hwa Shin is the right decision for her. *eternal screaming*
I love Lee Jun Gi so much guys. I love his acting So :D much. I love it so much I'm gonna ignore that he…
Me too. I get so defensive when people start attacking me when I am peaceful. Even when I comment something unpopular, you can call me out nicely on that and don't have to insult me.
I think even though I am attracted to the bad guys in fiction, they have to have a reason. The bad personality has to develop in a nice one, or if it was just a facade, it has to fall off. I like them because in the end they always learned something, and since I mostly watch romantic dramas I like seeing that even without the girl his life has changed and he got a better man.
He is not my number one actor on the list, but the same way you feel about Kang Joon, I feel about Choi Minho from SHINee. Well, he is my absolute bias and it makes me so happy how much better he has gotten in acting since Salamander Guru oder To the Beautiful You. He was not really bad in TtBY but to be honest his performance wasn't that good either, though I never was really bothered by it. But he has grown so much already in Medical Top Team and Because It's the First Time. I am just so in love with him and I am so happy that he improved and people stopped insulting him for his acting.
Maybe I was just oblivious to the comments of Jung when they weren't good comments. I know that I was seeking out comments about Jung from people that bothered to analyse his character a bit - like me lol.
Yes Jang Geun Suk and Lee Joon really are great actors.
My first ever Korean anything was You're My Pet with JGS and I loved him to death. Omg, I was such a fan. But sadly I don't like watching him that much anymore, mostly because I don't like the dramas he chooses.
For Lee Joon I've only seen him in Gap Dong but wow. He was so good it was scary.
My number one actor is Lee Jung Gi and I really, really, really like Yoo Seung Ho (Missing You, Remember - War of the Son). He is so young yet he has already filmed so much.
I'd say Lee Jung Seuk is also a really good actor, but people are so distracted by his good looks that you seldom read comments about his acting.
Last night I watched the new ep of The K2 and Ji Chang Wook is not only candy to my eyes but also a very good actor I thought.
Uuhhh another great actor, maybe just behind LJG: Lee Sang Yoon (Liar Game, Twenty Again, Angle Eyes) and Shin Sung Rok (Liar Game, Trot Lovers) - he is also someone who transforms in his roles.
Don't know if I should watch this. It will toture me if they fall in love even though they are married. I can't forgive betrayal even if their partner is shitty. But I love the cast. The cast is so amazing omg.
How can people say IU is a bad actress? I cried a river during her scenes in ep 11. Especially when she tells…
I think most people that judge IU haven't really watched much from her.
in Dream High her role was so small, when she wasn't on screen you forgot about her. Pretty Boy was not the best drama but her perfomance wasn't bad at all. Where she totally got my heart was in You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin. I watched 50 eps just for her and she was so amazing in my eyes and then she played Cindy in Producers what should have been enough to show her talent because she delivered a role that was so different from any other she played till then.
I love Lee Jun Gi so much guys. I love his acting So :D much. I love it so much I'm gonna ignore that he…
I have to say I am a fan of many male actors that I consider very talented, it's just that with LJG I always remember how good his acting was whereas with other actors I most likely remember how much I liked their role in the drama/movie.
What says a lot about him, in my opinion, is that he is so good in choosing his roles. I mean his roles sometimes are bit similiar since he likes to play the more distance guy in historical dramas and movies but each piece is very different in content and there are always at least a few scenes where he just proves his pure talent.
And yes, your are very right. He is so good with expressing every thing you need to know just with his facial expressions. So good that I believe LJG is probably a pretty good liar in real life XD He is the full package. He has the look, the talent and the voice.
I love Lee Jun Gi so much guys. I love his acting So :D much. I love it so much I'm gonna ignore that he…
Yes, I really enjoy our conversations. I hate it when people and I have different opinions and they just declare theirs as the right one. It's kind of disrespectful. (It's another thing if we have a discussion about certain behavoirs and actions that are right or wrong and your arguments are better than mine :D)
I can't really say what my ideal type is. I would say I am normally more attracted to the nice guys, but I am in dramas most likely always TeamFemaleLead. So most of the time I like the one she falls in love with in the end (when it's reasonable) just because the director wants you to love him and I admit it works for me 80% of the times. My first second male lead syndrome was Chilbongie from Reply 1994, I'll never forget the heartache. And my biggest was Siwon's role in She was pretty, it's still hurts how perfect he was - the type of guy I'd totally date.
Well, Edward was really nice and he was really nice to Bella, it's just that he knew that he was dangerous for Bella. As well was Jacob after he became a werewolf. And Bella and Edward were happy most of the times except for the 2nd movie/book. There are only very few great lovestories without problems and drama. Let's not start on Twilight, because we are on different Teams again :D.
Yes the mangaka of Cheese in the Trap was very unhappy with the way they adapted it. The director said they would stay true to the webtoon - what the didn't, apparently.
Park Hae Jin himself, said that he was a fan of the webtoon that's why he played Jung. He was very interested in his character and wanted to deliver him very well. That's also the reason why he agreed to play Jung again in the movie, because he is such an big fan.
The comments I read on Dramacool were all about In Ho :D I would have loved to read more about Jung but well. Yes, I think Park Hae Jin is very famous in China but, it's neither his fault that Kang Joon was attacked by his fans. I think it had a lot to the with the director because she angered fans of the webtoon and the where so many bad rumors about why she gave Kang Joon so much more screen time towards the end and such. That still doesn't excuse those people. I just hate when people cannot differentiate between actor and role. They are not the same person. How can you hate someone for the role they are playing? The only thing you can hate about them is their acting. Not saying that Kang Joon was bad or anything.
I love Lee Jun Gi so much guys. I love his acting So :D much. I love it so much I'm gonna ignore that he…
Agree to disagree. Yes.
I wasn't biased either. Ahh his name was Inho not Seung Joo (I thought od Playful Kiss :D another character that had a shiity personality and whom I just cannot like, omg) :D I felt him being bratty through out the series. I don't have a special scene I have in mind now, just the feeling I remeber Inho giving off. Yes Jung went overboard a couple of times that's the reason they broke off. Because he realized that Seul was unhappy with his behavior. I didn't like Inho's impulsive actions, always beating people up and I didn't found him that helpful either. It's not that I know a lot about psychology but a few things. Your not just born with a nice personality but you have to get it teached to you.
I didn't dislike Inho so much as I was annoyed by him. I do not give him the fault on anything that caused Jung to do what he did. You're right it was his father. But it was more like that he didn't consider Jung's feelings at all. I mean Jung didn't either but I would apply other rules to a psychopath. To be honest I knew already in the early episodes that Jung was a psychopath based on his behavior and I didn't like him from the start but I grew to like him. For someone who doesn't know how to socialize I felt that Jung loved her so much when he went overboard. Not that I ever want this to happen to me because I wouldn't like Jung or Inho :D
I wished Inho had told her his feelings so much ealier because he was jealous and he did blame Jung for his hand and he did ruin Inha's dream of being an artist and I remember him telling Seol often that Jung was bad.
Since you didn't watch the last 3 eps you don't know that Jung in the end realized that he had to work on himself before pursuing Seol and broke up with her. He went to Inho to give him that signed music paper or whatever and I wished they would have talked and figure it all out and start being friends again. Maybe I will read the webtoon to have more insight on Baek In Ho. And maybe I'll rewatch Cheese in the Trap to tell you where he was especially bratty to me :D
The thing with Jung is I love him as a drama character but I'd probably never love him in real life.
The drama itself was not very well delivered because I read that there were a lot of Inho scenes that actually belonged to Jung. I hope they do a better job with movie.
I love Lee Jun Gi so much guys. I love his acting So :D much. I love it so much I'm gonna ignore that he…
Mhhhh I have to say I disagree with you a lot actually.
I mean yes your past is no excuse to be mean and that's why I didn't like what So did and like I mentioned, in real life I wouldn't like him. The thing is that I get to know his thoughts and feelings. So was never treated nicely so he treats everyone the way he expect them to treat him.
I think I wrote really long essays about Jung's character and why it is so important to not completely jugde him by his actions because he had difficulties understanding what was right and what was wrong. There are so many psychological reasons that I could forgive him. I loved his character so much because he was so complex. And the things he did were bad yes, there is no excuse but I did forgive him. Whereas Baek Seung Jo totally had no problems with right and wrong and for me his behavior wasn't really better. To be honest my biggest problem with him was his temperament, the same temperament his sister had. They were so spoiled, so bratty , so childish that I couldn't handle them. Also in my opinion almost nobody liked Jung but rather Seung Jo. In the comments it felt like everybody was so busy judging Jung that they saw no flaw in Seung Jo. The saddest part for me was that they didn't give him some development and he thought he was always right until the end.
I know you said that there is nothing for you to understand but I guess I am different in that way because I most likely choose the character that I have to analyse first.
I love Lee Jun Gi so much guys. I love his acting So :D much. I love it so much I'm gonna ignore that he…
Wow, this really puts another side to him. I wish they had included the backstory, because I'm all about depth in characters.
But I don't dislike Wook because I love Lee Jun Gi as an actor. I watched so many dramas and I never hate the second lead when he is actually nice to the female lead. But I am kind of annoyed by Wook, what comes as a surprise because I do like Kang Ha Neul very much because he is a great actor as well. I think your comment helped me figure out what I miss with Wook and it's the depth in his character. Wook is only portrayed as that prince that falls in love with his wife's cousin, neglets his dying wife and is a love rival to So. There is nothing else about him. In comparison So is a character that has so much room to grow and to prove himself, not only to Soo but to his family and himself as well. He'd still had a story without the love connection to Haesoo.
I actually don't really understand why people start hating Wook now that he turned his back against Soo because for me it was reasonable. It was a little bit scary with the whole murder on that maid and the "you can do anything with me" but I could understand it. In no world I would choose my lover over the family that I love. If Wook had chosen Soo over his sister, no matter how wrong she was, I'd be even more disapointed in him.
I think I'm gonna like Wook now that he has another side to him:D
The best thing about the whole drama was watching how Mosheng found back to her old self.
She was such a sunshine as a teen and then suddenly so gloomy as an adult. But the further her relationship with Yichen grew the brighter she got. I thought she got really quiet and calm but in reality she just needed a reason to be happy again.
Seriously no. Don't. If you liked Boss & Me, you won't like Boys Over Flowers. Because B&M is super cute and adorable and BOF is just frustrating and clicheé.
At one point I shipped Bok Shil with that cute police officer.
BUT your idea would be so mind blowing that I actually don't hate it sooo much. I am though, routing for Louie and Bok Sil and I don't see that happening with a dead brother. So I rather have him all happy and alive so I can be it as well when this ends.
