can someone explain the ending?
He burned the contract the PH owner had, which proved the sale of his apartment. Later, when he remembered that his own contract still existed, I guess he went back to destroy it too — only to find that the source of the noise that had started it all was still there, and the absurdity of it made him laugh at the irony.
