The first season was good, the second had the feeling of a revenge series mixed with a flower boy romcom. There was no chemistry between the leads, it seemed like they just put the flower boy there without giving him proper story just to increase the ratings. and imo it’s not the glory of revenge, it seems like the “influence” of revenge, everyone took revenge on someone after meeting her.
The story starts out boring, but gets better as you watch. I did not like the romantic stories much, but the stories about Li Dong Seouk and his mother, Mi Ran & Jung Eun hee, Lee Young and her sister, and the grandma and her grandchild really touched me... I cried a lot during their stories, chef kiss 👌🏻
The beginning was sweet and soothing, but the ending was...expected, I didn't feel any thrills or suspense, just a slow paced drama that can heal you, just don't expect a strong story or anything extraordinary. Actors were good and the story was okay.
An amazing drama worth watching, everything in it is just lovely! the two leads have great chemistry, even though I wanted more romantic scenes between them ;^; you'll love it if you love comedy, great story, acting, old school real drama and a story that is unusual and unique. some complaints seems baseless, so my advice: if you are dramatic or serious and not familiar with comedy or old school kdrama, you like simple and used to stereotypical romcoms, or you want only trendy genZ actors then this series isn't for you. and please finish the drama before judging :)
I find the series to be realistic one where it reflects oriental women who lived in a toxic relationship for a long time in general, choices that are made are very realistic also, I saw real older women acting like her, most of the ones who refused the ending are those from different culture. it's not some fantasy melodramatic one with so much karma happening here and there, it's a social slice of life comedy show, so if you are expecting heavy romance and fairytale ending please skip it.

I think the point of this drama wasn't who is with who... I was torn between both wives at first but I realised that the new Song Hyung Chol is not the cook neither he is the banker... he is a new character... a mix between both, yes the soul is for the cook but the body, heart & memories are of the banker so he is not any of them... never heard of people who got heart transplant & ends up loving the person who previously the heart owner loved? its close to this one... let's think logically first before making judgments on others... in the end, we enjoyed this drama & it is one of a kind one so let's not fight for it.
