The 2 dramas he did last year were hits and Welcome to Samdalri was one of them. It did well both in S Korea and…
"After expanding his range with various genres in K-dramas and movies, including Empress Ki, Healer, The K2, and Suspicious Partner, and rising to stardom, Ji Chang Wook's subsequent works relatively underperformed."
a great actor and of course a great son! I don't know why say his recent works were failures tho - lovestruck in the city is a hidden gem and welcome to samdalri was one of the best netflix dramas of 2024, very underrated in my opinion. just because it isn't a hit worlwide, it doesn't mean it's a failure. he's still working hard and deserving of all success.
I'm currently on episode 5 binge watching and totally in love with them 🥺😭 it might be cliché since I can predict everything that might happen but the acting and characters make it worth it!!
got back to this one after 3 years or so. it is good but I felt it wasn't the moment for me to watch then. ML is the sweetest. some other plots such as his younger sister's are a bit annoying. overall worth the watch, cozy stardew valley vibes, good acting, but very contemplative and slow paced
I knew her face was familiar, thought it was because she looked like an idol... I've watched her many times before! she's gonna grow up to be a beautiful actor
