tried the untamed at its peak 3 years ago. something was so off but i couldn't tell what exactly. dropped because it was so long and confusing (too many families, fantasy stuff, special effects and i didn't know what was going on lol). later found out what was the thing bothering me: the actors were all dubbed?????????????
in the middle of episode 2 right now and kinda triggered... does it change in the upcoming episodes?? i don't get that lady basically saying "yeah you wanna die? do it! you're weak! you should just get over it!" like wth? how can you say that to a suicidal person...
Honestly it made no sense you still got lead on until the very end and to add insult a epilogue and even that…
i got the intention but it was really poorly written, which was a shame since the whole drama was really good. another person pointed out how everyone had a ending but we never got to see baek yijin's.
Now that I look back, I think this love story was poorly written. It hit us because it was the magic of Kim Tae…
i would've rated 10/10 with a simply "yijin changed his legal name so no one would know he's married to heedo" explanation. seriously. this is the worst and silliest break up i've ever seen
for me, the ending was absolutely rushed. episodes 15-16 were all about hanging on that tiny little sparkle of hope and then in the last 10 minutes they want us to just.. believe everything happened that way? who is the father, is she happily married? when did she met him? yijin came back to korea, that meant nothing? we never got to see his older version, why? why do i feel like they never got over each other? he was still "friends" with her mother, had mutual friends with her, and they never run into each other again? that hospital scene with her mother, that picture on the beach that only yjin had and suddenly was at heedo's place... meant nothing? honestly... it feels like the writer made two different endings and wanted to "surprise" everyone after theories were popping out.
if you've watched reply 1988, you know what i'm talking about... we had two entire episodes after finding out who the husband was. not my first choice, but it made sense. that's what is pissing me off the most. it doesn't make sense. and please don't come with "first loves never last sh*t"... i don't want a reality check. my life is pretty sad alredy! they were special, a different bond. i feel like the ending kinda ruined the drama for me. a good experience tho, but not 10/10 and not sure i would rewatch.
