I've been wanting to watch It Started With A Kiss too.... :D But the guy doesn't look very handsome, LOL XP BUTTTTTT, SOMEHOW, I will FIND the time, and watch this!!! Lolol, I understand ~ Jiro's acting is really good, I just wish his character was a little nicer here ^^ The thing I HATE the most is how they practically copied off TWO of the korean OSTs. Remakes usually only have ORIGINAL ones....the 2 songs they copied are nice, but they should have though of something better! Oh!!! But the song that the girl sang in the audition room...I LOVE it!! <3 do you know what it is? It 'replaced' Without Words by Park Shin Hye, though both are beautiful songs :P I really love it, and her voice too...it is really her singing it, and not dubbed right?!! I NEED TO FIND THAT SONG!!!

Move on to ep 5 (2012s era), it's much more fast (and steamy ><) from there! Though some people loved the 1970s simple but tragic love...it's personal preference!!! ;)

LOLOL XP YES YOU HAVE TO WATCH LOVE RAIN!!! Just watch it, not expecting too much, and indulge in the simple fun characters :D I find it easier to watch a show when I don't have any expectations for it at all - they tend to surprise me more!! ^^
I love Yonghwa as a musician and singer and person and everything, but yea I can't deny that his acting needs much more training with his expressions and everything...but OMG, am I the only that finds the 2nd male lead in the taiwan version much more charming than Yonghwa's character??? I mean I know they are both playing the 2nd male lead in YAB, but this guy's acting is so much better! And on top of that, he's freaking cute ~ >< I think the taiwanese script is better too because, well, he has a much bigger role in this remake and doesn't 'stand by the side, watching quietly, enjoying quietly, protecting quietly'. Don't you think so??? LOLs JGS definitely portrayed the male lead better than Jiro though, no offence. :P though I do like Jiro's acting, but he seemed even meaner than JGS ;(

Really???I really loved Playful kiss...idk why lol, just couldn't stop watching and stuff! I think the male lead got better! Though yea he could have been more affectionate and everything towards the girl (ESP after marriage), but I guess it's just all in the personality of Baek Seung Jo :P I can't wait to watch Love In Tokyo!!! Everyone says it's soooo good :D

Haha...wait what? :O I think we had some major misinterpretation LOL :P I haven't watched I hear your voice yet, but I have a feeling it's going to be great, just like Secret Garden!! But with everyone giving good reviews (I haven't seen a single bad one), I definitely need to watch it soon :D

Haha, to be honest, I didn't like You're Beautiful so much...as in, I know LOTs of people went crazy over it, esp over the cast - and if you're asking me about the cast, I really LOVE the cast. Jang Keunsuk,Jung Yonghwa, Lee Hongki, Park Shinhye...what more could you ask for??? Then again, they aren't all my top favs, but it's not easy to find a cast with actors and actresses that you like altogether ;( you know what I mean!
I just didn't like the characters they portrayed! Park Shinhye's character annoyed the crap out of me sometimes, so blur, and everyone finds her cute but I don't at all. And obviously anyone can tell she isn't a guy esp by her voice! (the taiwan version isn't doing a good job portraying the girl-turned-guy either). Yonghwa's character is so...meek? He's like saying 'I will protect you, so like whoever you want' comeon! You love her! So fight for her! :) JKS's character was a little too mean as well, honestly, though I love JKS <3 The only character I liked was Jeremy.
OMG I LOVE JERRY YAN!!!! I prefer kdramas, but yea the approach is very different for both types i guess :P I find kdramas have more flow, seemingly better plot, more consistently good actors and actresses, awesome soundtracks (I love music you see ^^)...though kissing wise, I would say Taiwan is more consistent ;D Don't get me wrong, kdramas have FANTASTIC kisses (gahh, the fountain kiss in Love Rain..), but they are pretty inconistent at times! Like some where the girl just stares and the lips don't move. Who are you kidding lol! Taiwan ones are more consistently passionate... ^^ heeheehee (gahh, Mike He... <3)

Haha! I know what you mean LOL xD Sometimes, its much better to watch a show from the middle than from the start. Like for Love Rain I started from ep 9 when it was airing on KBS and YES, I was KILLING myself every week waiting for the next 2 episodes the following week - it's so slow! It should be like 4 ep per week, not 2 >< I really LOVEd love rain, so i rewatched it from the start (and I still loved it :P) But it's ok, diff prefences right? :)
Ahahaha, some people like kdramas with chinese audio (esp those who understand chinese) . Like, my aunt says the Koreans talk too 'harshly' and the Chinese audio sounds much nicer...I THINK THE TOTAL OPPOSITE! Though I AM chinese and I understand it, I don't like how chinese audios sound...esp the girl voices! Ohmygosh! So babyish! Not fitting to the faces, at least ><

I watched it many years ago on Channel U. All the shows on Channel U - whether Korean or Taiwanese - are always chinese dubbed...and well, I can't stand watching a Korean show in chinese audio! I hate the voices cuz they seldom go with the faces. That's why I didn't like Boys Over Flowers when it was on Channel U.
But last year, I rewatched in in korean audio and I LOVEDD IT!!!! <3 That's why it's in my top 5 favs, I didn't like it at first but after that i loved it! I think I stated so in my profile, didn't I? :P lol.

I hope so too!! I have a feeling it's going to be like Secret Garden, not watching it with any expectations, but just because other ppl ask me to, I watch it and --&gt; IN THE END I LOVE IT TO BITS!!! It surprises me that Jongsuk and Sanghyun from Secret Garden star as the two lead actors here..xD Is the soundtrack good though? A good drama always needs a good soundtrack!!
Hate it when possibly-great shows lack the perfect soundtrack - which is a mix of lively songs, emotional songs, happy songs, sad songs, and brilliant instrumentals! To me, music is so important ^^

Cuz I rly DID LOVE IT, but cuz recently I just ended my crazy load of tests, so I wasn't able to watch it recently....I've abit lost that 'crazy feel' for the show cuz it's been at least a week since I last watched it. Was the second half of the show good? Was it perhaps even BETTER than the first?

Actually I only joined last month, but I feel like it's been so long! Prob cuz I check it at least once (usually more) a day, only one day I rmb I was super busy with this concert so maybe I didn't. Other than that I can spend hours on MDL! LOLOL XD I prefer romcoms of course, but I have a crazy thing for romance and sweet kisses so I Enjoy Melodramas too! I agree with u on the 'no tragic ending pls' thing >< I absolutely hate tragic endings....it's like WHY DID I EVEN WATCH?! 'Lousy' endingS that didn't end the way I would want them too I can still take it....though ultimately it depends :P I absolutely LOVEEEE LAST KISSES! like in Love Rain, it was perfect because it ended with a sweet kiss! ^^ Secret Garden didn't end with a kiss, but the last episode had LOTS OF KISSES -LIKE, 3 IN ONE EPISODE!! Boys Over flowers had a last kiss but aft that they fast forwarded it to 4 yrs later....:( so it didn't rly end with a kiss. Oh well! The plot was still good!!!
