hmmm...similar eh. I don't really know what you mean, like in what terms, but Secret Garden, Playful Kiss and Boys Over Flowers gave me a really similar feeling to when I watched Love Rain. They don't really have much in common but those are a few of my all-time favs!

-I just checked your dramalist and you've already watched secret garden! and liked it alot too :P in that case, try Boys Over Flowers first! I know you may say it's too cliche since everybody has watched it but i dunno, I loved it alot I sped through the show without realising! Same went for Playful Kiss!

I finally finished itazura na kiss love in tokyo and I LOVED UBER UBER LOVEDDD THE ENDING <3 OMG. U know that hopeless feeling after you've finished a good show? I only wish I didnt drag it so much sigh

*PS. I realised writer nowadays are trying to change the typical rich-bad-guy-poor-nice-guy kdrama theme storyline. Like with MHIYD. It's nice to have a change! even prime minister and I is also change. Changes are good but sometimes the good old cinderalla r-b-g-p-n-g story is just as enthralling and fun to watch as it has always been! Writers please know that!

I personally loved the supporting cast alot +plus youngdo and hope they will all work together again with a different writer. I think what Kim Eunsok was trying to do with Heirs was to tweak the typical kdrama plot a little. What I think, she may have realised that many people have suffered from 2ndlead syndrome, falling for the nice guy instead of the badass guy so she appealed to them and made the kimtan the nicer guy and youngdo the badass. Well, I always wondered what it would be like if the roles were switched so guess its thanks to her I've found out (see, its not all that bad). In fact, I can applaud for her for trying at least.* Eunsang was also like a melodrama female lead. Park Shinhye, NEVER EVER try these roles again. You tried it in FLower Boy Next Door and in this, It's ok you've done all you could. NOw go back to romcom roles and stay there. Every time she played her tole it felt so dead she was like a walking zombie in this show, I couldn't stand it.

I also thought the start and the ending were boring. If either is boring, it's already a disadvantage. Having BOTH is x2 the badness. Anyway, sorry for the super long review - I have lots more to say about this show! But shall end here for your sake :)

I'm sorry Park Shinhye fans, but I've never been a great fans of Shinhye's acting. Never have, never will i think. The most I liked her was in Heartstrings, she did pretty good there. But still, I never thought of her as an actress she's overrated seriously. Just an over-popular idol.And I knew she could NEVER, NO NEVER kiss well so that was a minus for me in the drama. Minho's acting, on the other hand is good plus hotness and eyecandy doesn't kill. But I've always known that he's not the best kisser ever. SO that's ever more minus. I never felt any chemistry between them two, and each time he hugged her or kissed her, she was just like saying in her head "what is this thing doing on me!? ew, please get lost. It's disgusting enough acting with you, get your filthy lips/hands off me! urgh!". Like DUDE. If a handsome guy is kissing your or hugging you or even begging you to stay you crazy ACT LIKE YOU LOVE IT. KIss back, hug back, have that " I really want to be with you too" or " I love you too" face. All that I see are dead fish kisses and emotionless or miserbale expressions. I think Kimtan became really miserable towards the end - losing it when eunsang disappeared. Like sure cry, leave work for a while and be moody but be a man other male leads, pick yourself up after a day or two, go and confront your father in the right confident way not a pathetic way and change yourself. Don't stay miserable. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

When I think about it, Heirs wasn't SUCH A DISASTER, neither did it live up its hype as it had its own strengths too (along with its many flaws). I didn't like it alot though, mainly because park shinhye's acting (really sorry psh fans, understand that you must have your own reasons for liking her).

Let's start off saying, this show had SOOOO much potential. It had a wide selection of talented actors and actresses as well as its fair share of enjoyable OSTs. I'm not kidding - as much as I grew to hate kimtan though I loved him at the start, Lee Minho is as talented an actor you can get. I really wanted the super-popular woobin to see what was so great bout him - and he didn't disappoint! DIdn't like his character at the start but grew to root for him and feel for him :') an cry for him too.Kang Haneul and Choi Jin Hyuk did a great job playing their roles Hyoshin and ChoiWon (love rivals too), the girl they loved, Hyunjoo did a fab job too. One of the few times I remembering tearing and crying in the show was because of them! so *applause* for them! Kang Minhyuk and Krystal did a GREAT JOB as Chanyoung X Bona, absolutely loved them , they're one of the reasons I kept watching. I loved Kimtan's and Eunsang's mums together too. THey're so adorable! ALso one of the pairs that kept me through the show. Park Hyunsik fro ZE:A proved that idols can act too! He was so cute and I loved him lots as Jo Myungsoo <3 when I think about what a great cast they had, I get so mad. When I think about how I spent 20h (17h+ actually) on this show which was still unable to accomplish much in the time I gave it, I get more mad.

Since you asked, there are many reasons and mixed feelings (but kinda lazy cuz i've typed it too many times). If you asked me straight in the face, the first person who would come to mind is park shinhye (rly sorry psh fans), but after i think properly, I guess it's bcuz of how much potential the show had. it had a great cast of talented actors and actresses and osts but the plot was screwed up. The start and the end was boring which already kinda kills the drama +plus I saw barely any chemistry between psh and lmh. - summarised version

Actually I don't really HATE the Heirs. Maybe at some point during the show, I was bored to death or annoyed like heck but the shows, to be honest, still had its strengths and fair share of enjoyable OSTs. THe cast too was fantastic - I personally loved the supporting cast and I hope they will work together again hehe but under a different write and storyline :O I actually liked the main cast too though shinhye was in it - it was an interesting mix and i wanted to see the 'much wanted' woobin who has been becoming increasingly popular. I just get a little mad when I think about it cuz I thik about how great a show it could've been - it has so much potential! When I think about it they had some really good osts and hongki's one and like i said, the cast is FULL of amazing talented actors and actresses, kang haneul, krystal, minhyuk,hyunsik and the hyunjoo and the two mums in the shows to name a few and lots of hot eye candy. It couldv'e been so great but the plot and maybe abit of shinhye srcrewed it up sigh. Furthermore, thinking about how it took up 20h+ of my time makes me feel more unjustified!

NO matter how much I don't like shinhye I won't avoid watching her shows cuz I wanna see how she's changing and stuff. She CAN b a really good actress like in some of her previous shows (mentioned in my prev comment).

An yeah ramyun kisses were really hot I wish there were more though. One thing I hate about flower boy series is that they have very few OSTs. Especially ramyun shop, they deserved more and better osts too! :( I personally think secret garden was one of the those with the greatest number of and also the most enjoyable kisses ever! So much chemistry to begin with, +plus the hot steamy kisses <3 Have you watched it?

But what she DIDN'T realised is how MORE people would still fall for the badass guy with the badass lines XD and how the nice guy isn't so pathetic. (like she made KImtan to be) so she tried twirking things abit and turned Kimtan into the 'nice' guy and Youngdo into the badass. But it's ok, she tried. It was worth a try anyway! I always wondered how it would be liked to reverse the roles and we now know it can be distastrous.

HAHA I write alot too. I agree, SHinhye's character was like a mindless zombie I couldnt bear watching it. It was as if she didn't put any effort into giving it any backbone or charisma - she just flunked it. Sorry shinhye, you are a good actress after seeing your role in Heartstrings and what you're capable of. Stick to funnier and livelier characters yeah? Emo characters aren't your thing. I understand you were trying to take your leve of acting to a higher stage but it's ok, you've tried!
I AGREEE! Heirs had such a good cast man! I think the show would've done so much better if it was about Choi Won, Hyoshin, and Hyunjoo <3 I only rmb ever crying in the show because of them or Youngdo :') Hyunjoo, too, had a very miserable character, but I still like her nonetheless. She made me feel how she was feeling and cry when she wanted to cry. I will name the things that made me keep watching - Chanyoung X bona, Kimtan's mum X eunsang's mum, a possibility of Youngdo X Eunsang (Yes i still ship them abit as much as I hated shinhye's char, they have more chemistry than Kimtan and her), Myungsoo, Hyunjoo, Hyoshin - +plus minho's cuteness and the controversy surrounding the show that I just had to watch it!

They're sorta like rivals in their popularity and acting i dunno why, that's why I tend to be more biased to JKS's shows and abit biased against Minho's shows (though they are both really handsome and good actors hehe). and YES EXO IS THE BEST FOR ME <3


Yeap FLower boy ramyun shop was really fun to watch! AND OMG THE KISSES OMG ASDFGHJKLLL!! HAHA YES, the movie kiss was super *SPANK* haha but the best would be the one downstairs Chisoo's house!! the girl just pulled him and kiss!!! HAHAH XD

Yeah I agree Next door was enjoyable at some point but it kept dying down. It had some excitement but not enough. and though i like shiyoon too neither shiyoon nor shinhye will ever beat jung ilwoo or lee chungah from ramyun shop at kissing!! I agree! I never got why on earth she locked herself in. It was stupid and I got so frustrated at her no responding to ENrique's actions and feelings. SHe wouldn't stand up for herself against her friend at all (well barely) that I felt stupid rooting for her, And yeap no chemistry at all!!
