Lol have you read the webtoon? He is not her final man, he is first of 3.
Hey, to each their own. Was just trying to give more info on why the show is set up the way it is because I think the posters and promotions can give off the wrong impression that the show is about a couple when the original source material isn't.
did the producers confirm that they're are actually going to cast someone for the 3rd boyfriend? I'm getting a…
I really hope they don't ditch the ending. The whole reason this drama is being made is because the webtoon was so popular. That's like a huge "F you" to the fans to rewrite it without Soonrok.

The webtoon Yumi's Cells is a slice of life. It's popularity came from Yumi and her cells' quirkiness and how realistic the situations Yumi goes through are. I think a lot of people are going into this like any other typical romance drama where it's the love story of the FL and ML (and if not the ML, at least the 2nd ML). However, Yumi's Cells is more of Yumi's journey through life which happen to include her romantic relationships, hence, why there are multiple male leads. I really hope you stick with it because if the drama is going to remain loyal to the webtoon, it's worth it. Just remember there's a reason it's called Yumi's Cells--she's the only main protagonist, really~
Anyone here who has read the manhua? How does it compare? I've been debating whether or not to watch it, but I usually dislike adaptations when they are not faithful to the original. I do expect there to be changes, just would like to know if they are major.
Thanks for this, I am going to skip it. Especially since below it says they don't get a happy ending.
Just wanted to say that the unhappy ending for this character, although extremely painful, was pretty realistic. The character in question here had a lot of issues he was dealing with, mainly drug addiction. The ending they’re talking about is him giving in to the temptation of drugs again when he is released from prison. His ending has nothing to do with his sexuality. Frankly, I think you should still give the drama a go and judge for yourself how this character was written. I think what tillitreachesthesky wrote in their comment above is worth considering.
Wait what happened to the rating??? Didn't this have a 9 or 8.9 or something??
A lot of the ratings have changed since they updated the overall rating to not include ratings from people with multiple accounts and ratings from people who have not completed more than 1/5 of a show.
