Okay guys, I think this may be an unpopular opinion lol! But I'm just not vibing with the ML currently. I know these characters are all supposed to be flawed like real life humans are, and I can understand where the ML is coming from to a certain extent, but I'm feeling much more sympathetic toward the FL. Of course, she's definitely not perfect, and leading on the SML like that is totally wrong. But, I can see maybe why she does it, as unfair as it is to the SML and even herself.

Now, this is just my character analysis so far, so please take my interpretation with a grain of salt! Obviously, living with the absolute heart wrenching knowledge that her loved one had an affair would take its toll on anyone. Feeling like you aren't enough is a punch straight to the gut and would definitely have an effect on your self esteem. But then, you learn that the affair was fake the entire time, because your husband needed an excuse to leave you because he couldn't stand living with you? Again, for the FL, this just confirms that very same thing--her love was never going to be enough.

Yes, miscommunication played a huge part in the failing of their marriage, on both sides. And the FL could have compromised more with the ML, but it's not like she did it maliciously. She was just kind of oblivious lol. Anyway, I can understand why she would be so desparate to soak in any kind of love the SML is willing to give her, despite the lies and her remaining feelings for the ML. She just wants to be wanted. We see her insecurities plainly when she tells the SML that he'll get bored one day and leave her too. THAT MADE ME SO SAD haha.

Another thing, I'm not really seeing the ML's feelings for the FL. She obviously still loves him, but does he still love her? I'm pretty sure we're meant to think so, and perhaps we're starting to lean into it with how he worries about her in episode 6, and from his drunken rant in a previous episode? I don't know lol. We've pretty much only seen the FL grapple with her lingering feelings and pining after him. Hopefully we will see this with the ML soon.

i def get where you're coming from! i'm looking at it like GTS was sort of abandoned by everyone he cares about (his grandma and dad dying, not their fault but you get it lol, and his mom ACTUALLY effing off and leaving him behind) so he's probably got issues stemming from that. and the housekeeper comes in and builds a trusting repertoire with him, so i'm sure he became attached to her and felt wholly betrayed. and you are SO RIGHT, GTS and OHB are downright adorable--their chemistry is amazing!! i can't wait to watch OHB protect her man from all these rats coming after him haha

i understand your point of view, but YJ has no choice but to stay in his position. we saw his struggle with getting a job, and this was the only place that would take him, and he has to support his family. but he loves HD enough to try to do both anyway, despite the looming conflict of interest that could potentially harm their relationship. idk, his situation is complicated, and we still have two more episodes before we know how everything ends up. the writers have been hiding HD's husband for a reason, so i think they are trying to trick us and hopefully it ends up being YJ lol.

I've never been more excited for a drama to be over. By some miracle, we all managed to make it to the end together, and it was an honor to curse this drama to hell and back with you all in the comments. Until next time, friends! <3

these side storylines should have been solved ages ago. i really am curious how much more time they will dedicate to literally everyone else before we get to bask in the upcoming DD/YG lovefest. especially considering the show was only supposed to be 50 episodes and it got extended to 52 haha. do you guys think they'll rush to wrap everything else up in episode 51 and then we will get to watch nothing but DD enjoying her time with her new family in the last episode? or am i asking for too much lolololol
