I remember liking it when it aired and had fond feelings on my second watch. I certainly didn't remember how it ended, just that the ending was a happy one.
I will say that I feel the ending was rushed. First, we have their 3rd act break up. Honestly, I thought it was overkill seeing as we already went through the second act break up when the FML finally remembered her bff.
In my opinion, it was super silly that their immediate reaction to public negativity regarding their relationship was to break up and run away. LOL like they didn't think to give an interview or nothin' to clear the air 😭
And then 2 whole years pass and the first time they see each other they immediately get back together? LMAO I guess the problem that broke them up in the first place suddenly went away.
Regardless of that interesting choice to end it all, I did enjoy my rewatch. I like both the lead actors and I thought they had good chemistry.
Hoped you enjoyed reading my opinion that nobody asked for LOL!
Omg yes that was very confusing for me as well!! It took me waayyy too long to figure out the relation lol!! I'm so happy you updated me! And yes please, let's be friends! I hope you continue enjoying the drama so that when you catch up, we can discuss it haha!!
I think it is! I really enjoy the leads together. It can definitely get frustrating, as most weekend dramas do lol. The acting is really good! I recommend checking it out!
Maaannn the realization that we have THIRTY more episodes to go just hit me lmaooooo. I love weekend dramas but I forget how much of a journey they are when you're watching weekly lol. I'm having a good time, though! I really hope the second SML plot doesn't go on for too long, I can't stand that guy!
I know that the one episode a week thing is a turn off for a lot of people but I actually don't mind. it gives me something to look forward to LOL. I'm really liking this drama! also I was DYYIIINNGGG during that kiss scene lmfaoooo
I can maybe see why some ppl aren't liking it with the multiple plot lines going on but I'm really enjoying it! both main couples are super cute and the romance also. it's a pretty typical drama, you could probably guess what's gonna happen next but its still fun! you should totally give it a try!
I enjoyed this drama! I just have some questions and maybe you guys might have some insight lol. I'm very confused on how Ji Eum was able to lose all her memories and still function. She was living with her niece so when Ji Eum forgot her, where the heck did she go to live? Also, how did she end up back at the big company as an engineer? And wouldn't her cell phone have all her pictures and contacts still in there? Wouldn't the people not directly involved but still knew her prior to the memory erasure know something was weird? Like she worked with a whole crew at the hotel lol what if she had ran into someone from there and they asked her all these questions she didn't have answers for because she had no memory of it? Not to mention her brother, who knew about her and Seo Ha. Just a very odd plot line here lol.
is anyone else irritated by how much of a hypocrite the FL is? she was jealous and upset when the ML still hung out with his friend who he'd been intimate with years ago, but she literally doesn't realize she's doing the same thing with her work buddy? she should have rejected the work bud right away after he LITERALLY KISSED HER. what even is this plot right now LOL
I understand there's a lot of frustration regarding the FL's complete shut out of the ML in ep 18, but I totally sympathize with her (even tho I am soooo ready for them to be together already!! lol). The accident was a very traumatic moment for FL, and she has to re-live it not only for the sake of the brother, but also the father of her child. She's terrified that they will never be able to let this moment go and that she'll keep having to get back on that bus, evidenced by the way she asks if Su Tian will always haunt them. Min Hui states that for a moment in that hotel room, when she's accused of murdering Su Tian, Xi Qi looks at her as if she could actually have done it before he reaffirms his belief that she's innocent. Absolute devastation for Min Hui, and I can't say that I blame her. What do you guys think?
while this isn’t a cute lovey dovey romance, the feelings of partnership and working together, friendship, protecting…
Same! There's a lot of commenters that are angry because of the romance tag and not much has happened, but I think that will change in the last two episodes. Plus, romance isn't the only thing that's tagged lol. Anyway, I absolutely adore how the main leads truly care for each other. We shall see how it ends! I am of course rooting for a HEA, but I don't think I'll be too upset if the ending is bittersweet. I've enjoyed the ride at least
Can someone give me a summary on what's been going on this show so far thanks
The Crown Prince, along with Jae Yi who is disguised as a eunuch so she can be close to the CP, have spent most of the time trying to solve who is behind the murder of her family and the people who "cursed" the CP. Jae Yi was supposed to marry the Crown Prince's best friend, the Sergeant, before the tragedy of her fam being killed, but since she was accused of the crime, that never happened. So far, only the CP and one of his guards knows who she really is. There's an evil minister who knows she's not really the eunuch who she claims to be, but he doesn't actually know her real identity, and her servant also knows who she is (the servant is also in disguise and became the student of a noble who does autopsies). The love between Jae Yi and the Crown Price is SLOOWWWW BUUURRNNN. The show has really emphasized the build up of trust and love between the two, and it wasn't until this last episode that both of them realized their feelings, although there hasn't been any confessions yet. The Sergeant is clueless that Eunuch Go is really his fiancee LOL, even though he saw her picture before they were supposed to get married. There's a lot of court machinations going on, especially with the evil ministers who want the CP deposed, or even killed. The king is trying to protect the CP now by marrying him to a woman from a family that can oppose the family that's basically running the show (you know how it goes in these historical dramas LOL). Anyway that'll be yet another obstacle in the way of our Mains' love story :( Let me know if you want to know anything else!!
The chemistry between the leads is WIIIILLLLDDD!!! If anyone is on the fence about watching this, please do yourself a favor and press that play button LOL. We're only 5 episodes in and I'm literally obsessed
