The Emperor was so weird in the last three eps like all of a sudden he looked like he was enjoying that Xiao Jue was heartbroken over not marrying He Yan and the Emperor was smiling evilly while threatening Xiao Jue's family and forcing him to deliver the decree himself?! Unusual.

Can't believe they killed Yan He just so Chu Zhao could regret his actions....... TT

I enjoyed the romance scenes, every confession made me giggle and blush TT <333 "I love the moon, but the moon doesn't know."

Loved Ryan Cheng from A Familiar Stranger so it was a treat to watch him here. Green flag, strong, romantic hottie, the stylist knew how to dress him too <33

Loved Zhou Ye from Back to the Brink, she was great here. Yes, she had a small stature but when she put on her general face, she was believable and had a strong aura. Her strongest acting was definitely when she was fighting and when she was angry. Most memorable scenes of her being angry was when she ripped the marriage decree out of Xiao Jue's hands and stormed off and when she grabbed the wine bottle out of Chu Zhao's hands saying "You don't deserve to get wasted!" *chef's kiss*

In ep 32 16:15 of LOFG, the background music is the same epic one as in The Long Ballad ep 13 11:25!!! heheheh <333

Also I'm still not sure if the war scenes being drawings was because of budget reasons or covid but maaan if The Long Ballad had war fight scenes like in LOFG the show would be higher than 10/10 because TLB already had amazing one on one fight scenes, imagine the choreography for the huge group fights and more of Changge and A'Sun fighting side by side <333

I was about ready to drop the drama every time his face was on screen lol the creators LOVED him i could tell, he had waaaay too much screen time. Like that expensive compound that houses celebrities and politicians just allowing anybody to enter? what are the security guards doing?! And the fact like you said him busting into her house TWICE and having the audacity to say that she cheated, when I tell you I was fuming and just about gone bald from ripping my hair out......

simple story, the leads were cute but I gave the show an 8. All the points knocked off is because of the ex-husband. One of the most infuriating, hair ripping, annoying, hypocritical, delusional characters that I have ever watched.

Currently watching it and i'm enjoying it so far. The FL is badass and it doesn't hurt that ML is eyecandy too hehe

honestly best part of the movie was the submarines flashback scenes, the ending ones really tugged my heartstrings

random side note: Zang Hai aka Xiao Zhan's arms are nice lol. Every time he rolled up his sleeves or had a close up heheheh <333

Did he lie to Zang Hai because he does resent him for killing his father? Is that why? Or because he was already working for Zhao Bingwen?

Zang Hai's execution scene was so nerve-wracking....amazing

1. so did Zhuang Zhixing actually lie to Zang Hai before and tell him that the third enemy was the Queen of Dongxia when he knew it was Zhao Bingwen? So he was already working for Zhao Bingwen back then and only switched back to the good side when Zang Hai tells him that he helped get revenge on his father the Marquis?
2. what does the Gui Seal do? It's poison that gives the infected healing powers but also makes them crazy?
3. How did the Emperor die? Was it because of the Gui Seal poison or something or did Zhao Bingwen secretly kill him at night then pin it on Zang Hai?
4. I wonder why Zang Hai doesn't go back to using his old name. It's a tad weird that Antu still calls him that when Zhao Bingwen named him that right?
