nobody is dishonest with themselves. this is not just a universal truth bc its the only version of a gay relationship you've been exposed to. "if you want a partner, that guy should be better than you in at least ONE way." what are you even talking about. you are trying to assign sexual preferences best on what a person considered a partner to be "better" in a relationship? you could be dumb as a doorknob and built like a twig and STILL dominate/top in the bedroom. i very highly doubt you've truly explored gay circles outside a very closed echochamber community you might be part of (and i doubt any anecdote of any interaction based on your peculiar and borderline fetish-y sounding descriptions of these people). clearly you're ignorant and when people try to educate you out of your ignorance, you lash out and pretend your "info" is the universal truth. childish.

this is very odd. i think you someone should let your friends know you think like this. this is quite disturbing to be analysing and characterising gay people this way.

the majority of the criticism in this comment section is not hate, fans just cannot handle feedback without flowery language. "I ain't reading all that btw" anti-intellectualism really is on the rise omg.

this "criticism" of other people is not what is happening here, its blatant attacking of people who dare to have another opinion. MOST of the people being attacked have not been hating, just criticising the show. these aren't fans "countering", these fans are attacking. i love this show and the actors, i can still have criticism which i have every right to post without being told im a POS bc i expected some better handling of certain aspect of this show and acting. the issue is, that you cannot give feedback about ANYTHING, without people being mad bc you didn't sugarcoat or flower up your language. i am simply stating how a person is allowed to have other opinions without being told to "just scroll".

you have been up the ass of people who have left VERY normal criticism, with NO hate in it. people should not need to add flowery language and sugar coat bc YOU feel personally attacked by it. if your positive comments are considered "reviews" than negative criticism are not "rants", just negative reviews. "fantasies i have in my head" are usually made due to hints from the trailer, pilot, and/or original novel content. "scrutinising" critics is not a thing, you are attacking these people bc they dares to have a different opinion than you. you are either too young to be watching these shows, or too old to be acting like this. learn to exist in spaces that are not fully catered to you. "my dear" grow up.

theres no need to be personally offended by someone's criticism of this show. they have every right to review it to the full extent of their feelings. this idea of "just move on" is shallow when it comes to media like this. these shows are made to be watched and criticised, whether positively or negatively. "just scroll" mentality works for media where the creator makes it out of personal enjoyment, and not for monetary gain. "just scroll" is something u say on tiktok videos and fanfiction, not produced shows where a lot of people spend money on subscriptions to enjoy. this concept of shaming people for "writing novels" when they express their opinion and feedback on a show is borderline anti intellectual, and you should reconsider what you feel offended by.
