This was so good! The characters really grew on me especially Tang Fan I just love him <3 his cute/worried/wife reactions and his gluttony (and also those random Sui Zhou's cooking scenes which always made me hungry). Will rewatch for sure!
Just rewatching for the 3rd time and once again I'm struck by his gorgeous kimono outfits. It's like modern design but still a kimono. The stylist did a terrific job!

Probably. I usually do and did that kind of rating as well! :) I think I watched the rest of the drama too early... (I was watching the first 8 eps while it was still ongoing and then went on vacation only to watch the rest of it yesterday) Like don't know if it's just me but I have those 'waves'? I guess. That for some period of time I watch only certain genre and after few weeks usually I switch to another genre. And for this drama I wanted to watch the rest of it while not being completely in the mood. Well I gave it a 9 by comparison as you said. :)
I can objectively see that it is a good drama but I somehow lost interest after about 8 episodes. I still did watch till the end after some time but used 2x speed and skipped a lot. And I still think it's a good drama but still could't really get into it... Now I just don't know how to rate it -.-'
I absolutely loved it! One of the best youth dramas! I feel every episode is so deep yet cute and bubbly at the same time. Not only do they bring us the heart thumps but also some very well written back and side stories which sometimes make you cry sometimes laugh and sometimes look at things from the other side and understand your parents'/children's point of view. A very satisfying script and even more LOVELY characters!
Things to watch this drama for: opening song ---> Xu Kai ---> ending song. (The songs are really beautiful as well as him but the rest is just meh or makes you want to kill some writers...)

I could find logic in him not connecting the dots because he believes he is a human and the words of the grandpa were once "wrong" because he said that only if they love each other she could go back from the snow realm but then she said in the truth formation that she doesn't like him (though it's because she's a kunwu and it doesn't work on her - but that may be too many dots to connect at one point). But what I found disturbing is the whole logic behind the secret realm (where the dragon king is) because it was supposed to be reachable only when having the badge. I can believe that Lord Zi can enter it by himself and that maybe the 2nd princ(ess) went there right after LX and could enter with him somehow but how the hell did SYL get there and even more how could the prince enter to save her? Too many discrepancies in the story-telling. The writers should at least stick to their earlier rules that's the basic for a good script... Gosh... I'm so mad. And now the long awaited rushed ending to top it all. Had much potencial but the only reason why it's worth watching is the handsome Xu Kai.

BGM is background music and I found it to be too loud over the actors' voices which made me angry. XD I had the same problem with the stalker-doctor couple... :/
