Yes agree !!!!! But I also think Sib had some good reasoning about how agreeing to lay low is just the first of many compromises they would have to make :(( but the scene with gene's dad at the end is such a sweet full circle despite the events of the ep, and my poor heart goes out for Hin

There were also so many beautiful moments in this episode between gene and nubsib and I think the format of the ep took it seriously, you know there was less sound effects or product placement, the music actually fit the scene, so much thought has gone into this from all production sides, just makes for a heart wrenching ep for us

episode 11... excuse me whilst I go get my tissues *cries* ... when the teaser for 12 came up with the four months later thing I genuinely gasped, the production company has no right to tell them what they can or cant do in their private lives, I felt like screaming at them through the screen the whole time :(( ugh I just wanted someone to stand up for them !!!!!

I really loved the scene on the balcony after nubsib came to gene's house - something about it seemed very real - and how understanding nubsib was of the differences between his father and gene's father showed real depth of character. I think they do such a good job in these small scenes to make them so meaningful I love it

I think the show has loads of really lovely spontaneous romantic moments!! But also think it’s great how caring Nubsib is especially when genes character is visibly uncomfortable/drunk - all the more romantic

the way in ep 8 where nubsib was so accepting of gene's hesitancy to tell their families about their r/ship too was so lovely to see - like such a good portrayal of a real queer experience

The emotional intelligence of this series is absolutely amazing!!! especially recent eps - I loved ep 8, the acting of the two leads is so thought out and the communication between them feels so genuine! I think they're doing such a good job of portraying the situation and the nuances of their relationship. Also Nubsib is a consent king we love
