So Good!
This series was great… the actors, all the interconnected stories, and most of all, the unwavering persistence of QI Sizhe who knew there was more to his girlfriend’s death. I liked the exploration of all the stories and how it took us to the finale. There were moments I cried and was on edge… from the beginning I knew it was going to be awesome and it didn’t disappoint. Was this review helpful to you?
Could have been better
This had so much potential. I was excited for the horror, storytelling, and romance. Instead I got lackluster acting from the main actor. Khem’s character was stagnant, I wished the entire time they had another actor who could have smashed the role. I was no longer interested in the romance and skipped any intimate scenes. After a while, I hoped Rhampueng got her complete revenge and be done at episode 6. Overall, I enjoyed the past timelines and history. Was this review helpful to you?
Love this show!
I intended to wait until the show wrapped and binge-watch it but I waited 5 weeks, have caught up and I am enjoying it so far. I am not the target audience and I can appreciate what the show is doing. The plot is simple yet complex in ways where you get to think on a deeper level about class, society, morality, and such. The show is moving along so well. The chemistry between the main leads is sizzling; the storyline is interesting and based on the novel, I am anticipating a lot of character development for both the leads— painful, heart-wrenching, and hopefully a HEA.
Waiting each week for a new episode is agonizing; I’m thinking I could hold off for another 6 weeks and finish it in one go, I hope I am successful 😂.
