Yes. I would say Thailand would cater towards the international market (English-speaking) first and then, the Chinese audiences because China blocks websites like youtube. It does seem to me like China have a bigger fanbase of Thai series because some series that I don't see being sub in English are subbed in Chinese. Yea. Perhaps Thai series gained popularity over the years in China.

I can understand low basic Chinese and understand based on context clues lol. I'm still learning Chinese, but lots of Chinese fans sub lots of Thai dramas and series, including BL series too. They sub the episodes a lot faster than English fansubbers. This is what I've noticed.

Don't worry. There are still lots of fan subbers everywhere still making subtitles for this show. There's actually 2 fansubbers that sub it in english for this show other than the official youtube accounts. I can watch this show with Chinese subs, even though my Chinese is still consider bad somewhat at least lol.

I caught up and finished episode 7, and my opinions remains the same thus far. I'm really enjoying this show and there's so much to explore throughout the series! The trailer for this show did no justice for the actual plot overall lol. I really don't know why I'm really enjoying the show, but I hope that Tofu doesn't disappear in the end. Nut and Nut's mom needs Tofu in their life! Lol 🥲

I agree. I finished episode 5, and this is one of the most smoothly developed BL series I've seen by far. Each episode felt so fast, even though its roughly 90 minutes long per episode. Nut have his reasonings to get mad, and we are shown why he gets mad. He just doesnt get mad out of nowhere. He's more irritated at times throughout the show, but he have his reasonings. When others see that he did wrong, they tell him straight up. He then realize what he also did wrong at times.

It is good that this show is produced by Thai Ch. 3 because they can expand the dialogues and develope the plot and characters a lot better.

I just got done with episode 3 and catching up. To anyone who thinks this show is a fluffy cutey show... think again lol! This show has so many mystery that I'm trying really hard to comprehend lol. It has it's cute moments, but dang I just love all the drama in within this show. I least expected any kind of crime or serious mystery within this show, but as this drama goes on, it's getting more interesting! I'm so glad that we are getting 3 episodes per week though. Every time Nut yells at Tofu, I feel so sad for my teddy bear lol

Its because this series has 2 part (2 couples) within the whole series. There's going to be another couple in the next part of this series called "sky in your heart." I suppose both couples will be seen across each other's storyline.

I'm liking it so far! Cuteass Dunk have a hotass sweet deep voice, while Joong's hotass calm character is getting to me lol! Who would have known that Joong can sing too lol. Seeing that this is only 8 episodes long, I feel like they are pacing the story faster. I did not expect them to kiss on the first episode already. 😳

Episode 1 was good! I least expected any comedy within the show, but it was actually very funny in some scenes lol. I heard that there might be a season 2 planned ahead though. I'm loving it so far. The production is quite high standard itself too.

I dropped both Bad Buddy and 1000 stars too, but I picked both of them back up for the moment. 1000 stars is pretty good solid feel-good BL series. Bad Buddy just felt like I was watching a High school BL again. The timeline was kind of out of place, and it made me kinda confused at certain episodes, but I'm midway of it now and for me, its a decent show. Don't watch Enchante because you will hate it and it was a waste of my time honestly. I only finished it because I like the main actors, but the execution of the series was really out of place. Fish Upon The Sky was a really funny show in my opinion i watched it mainly for the comedy.. This is why Fish Upon The Sky was really popular in Thailand. Plot-wise, FUTS was weak, but it was a very enjoyable show if you don't want to think too much.

True. They promoted Bad Buddy and Enchante more, but Not Me came out of the blue and on a Sunday. Bad Buddy was a decent show somewhat to me because it feels just like other University theme BL I've seen before. Enchante ended somewhat disappointing overall. But Not Me interested me more than Bad Buddy and Enchante. I say Not Me is probably one the best BL of 2021 alongside with 1000 Stars.

For Rom Com, I would then choose Fish Upon the Sky and Bad Buddy in GMMTV's other BL shows.

I really had hope for this show, but the execution of the show was really out of place lol. Idk how to feel, but I just felt sorry for Akk. He deserves so much better overall. They made Theo seem like he's really selfish with the enchante situation and his relationship with Akk. Other than that, I enjoyed the cute moments of Book and Force, but that's about it. I don't think I will rewatch this again, but just watch the cute moments betweek Book and Force lol. I had some kind of expecation of the series, but my expecation dropped a lot along the way. I hope the two will star in another show together with a better story and execution though.

As a long time Thai TV show watcher, the term "lakorn" is a Thai term that means "drama" I believe. The usual Thai primetime drama length are usually longer than an hour per episode. It's usually around 90 minutes long. "Series' are usually less than an hour per episode. This show is being aired on the local TV network channel 3 and not on cable or anything.

Oh wow. I'm really liking this show. This is my first Thai BL 'LAKORN'... not 'series.' This is definitely one of the first Thai BL with a Thai lakorn length. Honestly, I didn't have any expectation of this show, except knowing the main actors are cute and it's a fantasy theme. Those are the main reasons why I watched it.

It kinda reminds me of the fantasy theme "My Dream the series," although that show's story is far from different and the tone is much different. It seems like this drama might have better development because it's under Thai Ch. 3 and its 16 episodes long.

This lakorn is a bit cheesy itself, but I like it. It's a little different, and I'm happy to see another fantasy theme BL. I hope that this BL have success! It's a really cute and nice show so far. Since Kinnporshe is coming up soon, this BL will be my layback BL.

Aside all that, this showed reminded me of my small stuffed rabbit toy I used to have when I was a little kid. I threw it away, but this show reminded me the sentimental values my rabbit toy had within my life, so I really felt Nat's pain too lol.
