Hm I'm not sure if it's exactly "jealous" scenes, but there was a situation within the show where Mork's friend did try to make Pi jealous lol. I mean I don't want to spoil too much for you lol. I think this is a good show. It ain't perfect, but it's seriously enjoyable when you don't want to concentrate anything too heavy. I think the best episode was episode 10 if you happen to watch it that far lol.

No. It's not anything heavy at all. If you want to watch heavy stuff, you should watch shows like I Told Sunset About You or A Tale Of a Thousand Stars. If you just like comedy and something light and where conflicts are resolved quite easily, then this is the show for you. It's really just a bunch of cuteness and comedy.

Seriously. I agree. Win and Bright are both very handsome, but they don't seem to have that much chemistry in the show itself. I read other people's comments about how Win and Bright just seem more like 2 brothers than an actual couple in the show.
For Sotus... I remember when it came out, I thought it was kinda weird since they do hazing and all. Plus, it was GMMTV's first BL show too, so maybe that's why it got attention as well. I tried to like the couple very much... Like I've said earlier in my comment... I just felt like Kris and Singto didn't match chemistry at all. It was a very slow turned-out romance too. It just felt like that Singto was the one like Kris in the show and then suddenly they delevoped feelings for each other out of nowhere. I also told my friend to watch that show at that time when it came out and she told me that she thought Sotus was boring and slow too... Like there was nothing going on until episode 9 or 10 when the romance began. I also didn't watch season 2 of Sotus after too.
Japanese stuffs are relatively more expensive, not to mention that this is a Blu-ray. I wonder why they didn't…
I'm fine that it's a Blu Ray, but it's seriously overpriced for me lol. I have to think twice before spending that much lol. I love the show and want to see the behind the scenes very much, but $150 can do a lot of things for me lol. I might just buy to support them. It'll be my first $150 drama disc ever lol. I understand the cost of production is more than $150... But I have to think twice before spending it lol. Other shows I've bought are under $100 price range 🥲. I've read on yesasia that this drama had the most sales on their website for half of 2021, so that's a good sign for this show. It's just kinda sad that the main couple didn't really get a kiss scene.
I really wanna buy the Blu ray to support them but God dang the price is nearly $150! Plus $20 shipping too. 😭 Why is japanese stuff so expensive? By the way this is one of the best Japanese BL rom-com out there. Highly recommend if you're into funny stuff or want something light to watch :)
This drama really lived on the hype and the main casts are extremely good. The chemistry is definitely on point. The pacing of the story and the story itself is really good... Although the story is nothing new becuz I've seen so many 'straight' shows before where the main story centers around the main lead where he/she receives the heart from a decrease of someone who was truly loved. I'm glad there's finally a BL version for everyone to enjoy lol. I'm actually that they don't do any more than 10 episodes because it would stretch the story with no plotline. It ended on a good note how I imagined it would be.
Earth has been acting for awhile and finally he has his breakthrough. He's hot as hell and he got paired with Mix, which he is also great for his role as a newbie actor.
In the show, I truly felt bad for Tian because he has lots of guilt in him and then the whole village guilt him as well. I know that lots of people say that Tian has done nothing wrong, but I think I understood why he still felt guilty. It was due to the fact that he initiate the street car racing in the first place, which caused Torfun to die. And then he even took her heart, which he felt wasn't his and wrong to do so. There's a line in the show where Tian said "my good luck is because of someone else's bad luck." And I think that's why he tried to do so much for Torfun's legacy in the village. I can't believe this show made me cry because I truly felt like how Tian felt at one point in my life. Even though you may have done nothing wrong and you try to fix things, it still breaks your soul and then you continue to blame yourself over and over again. Accepting the fact and forgiving yourself is indeed hard for certain people.
Besides Tian's character, Phupha seemed heartless at times and cold towards Tian, but I can let him slide because Tian is probably his first real love, so he didn't know how to communicate or act towards Tian. He's just been doing his job almost his whole life, so he don't know how to communicate with the person he likes too.
Besides that, I think the chemistry of the two are just amazing. You can feel they both have tensions with each other and really want to show their feelings. Earth and Mix have been lovely 😍.
Overall, the casts and the story was really amazing. I think it's one people should definitely not skip on. It is indeed not like any other kind of BL we've seen. I truly recommend this series to everyone.

Totally agree with this! Ppl should stop comparing this rom-com show to a more serious drama like ITSAY and ATOAS. You watch what you wanna watch. This show is so funny and it's really a light-hearted series not meant to be taken so seriously like other shows. It's great that not all BL shows has to be so serious, heartbreaking and sad. We indeed need more rom-com BL shows like FUTS too!

You know this show is based off from a novel... Which was really popular in the first place to begin with... Just like ATOTS is also based on a novel... That's why these novels got adapted into a series.
Alright. This is one of the best BL drama out there! If You're just looking for a light-hearted and happy show with a happy ending, then this show is the deal! I would be rewatching over and over again! I even preorder my DVD copy!
Why do I think this show is so good? First of all, there is no toxic people in this drama! This show is actually one of the few shows where you have a gay character at the beginning and he just want to confess to his crush. There's no complications of main the character sorting out that he's gay and there's no complications of where the other main lead is straight or sorting out if he's gay with the other main lead. No such thing as "I'm not gay, but I only like you" type of shit you see in other BL shows lol. They are all gay at the beginning. It's truly really refreshing to see a show like this. I feel this series shows what realistically ppl go through. This show overall is just plain cute and funny all the way.
There were moments in the show where I thought it would be too early for certain circumstances, but this show proved me wrong! The moments happened right away lol. I really didn't have any expectations of the show because I thought it was just another university series and maybe it might get boring, but every episode got better and the character's lines were just really funny. I was just cracking up almost every episodes! Plus Pi's and Mork's chemistry were just on point that I really wanted more. This series was just so good. I'm gonna definitely rewatch over and over. I just really wished that they could have added one or two more episodes and the story would finished off good. I felt the last episode was a bit rushed, but it did ended perfectly how I wanted lol. This show is gonna be in my heart forever! 😍☺️
I still love this drama!!! It's still one of my all favorite Singapore drama. It was hailed as Singapore's "Dae Jang Geum" (a popular K drama) at the time. I mean I can admit that some parts within the series is ridiculous, but I guess it really adds to the story though. This drama is a remake, so it follows the 2000's era dramas where it's often sad, and the main characters never end up with each other, BUT this version just replace my heartbreak many years ago because in the old version, the main couples didn't end up with each other lol! The things I like it better about this remake is the fact that they took out the present time's scenes out from the entire drama, which I now think this is irrelevant within the old version. They also made Yuzhu have a "happier" ending, although it's still pretty sad. At least she wasn't as crazy anymore. AND the ending is a happy ending! They ended up together this time around. I used to binge-watch the old version so many times, but this time I'm going to binge-watch the new version over and over! PLUS, the new OST is amazing! I love it so much!! I still love this drama the same as before, but much more now! I'm glad the same writers didn't follow their old version, or I would have been sad and heartbroken again!
Once again, I love this show that it introduced me to Peranakan culture, and overall Singaporean & Malaysian cuisines. Much love!! :D
