Good ending where you are satisfied, but its also open-ending in hoping there will be season 2.

I would to also add the fact that I'm sure these Chinese companies know how popular BL series are, but they can't really produce them due to censorship. Maybe this is why see IQIYI, and WETV sought to invest in BL series abroad, especially in Thailand. This is just my opinion though lol.

It's funny because I remember when they first announced this series, I thought it was going to be stream under Wetv (Tencent), but it's now under Youku. I'm sure they have to had had those Chinese companies help invested in this series. I'm sure Nonkul's Chinese fanbase may have help carried in this series' investment too. Nonkul and Bright did a photoshoot for a Chinese magazine, but I have yet to see them featured on a Thai magazine! I mean either way, I'm glad to have seen Nonkul in a BL series! I've been dreaming for him to appear in a BL show and it finally came true for me lol! Who would have though he would ever be in a BL series? Yea, but I'm sure they must have paid him a lot to even want to appear in a BL series, since BL series is more popular on an international level than local level overall.

I feel like they cut to the present probably because they aren't sure if they can make season 2 if season 1 doesn't get as popular or make the money back they put in for season 1. Nonkul is a well-known popular actor in Thailand and I'm sure YYDS and Dee Hup have to pay him a lot more than the average (or new) BL actors would get. Plus, having Cocktail, a longtime very popular Thai band, to sing the OST might have contributed a bit more too. After seeing the whole series overall, I would say this is definitely an upscale production too, so I'm sure the cost for this whole series might cost around the average standard Thai TV series you would see at GMMTV, Nadao, Thai TV Channel 3, or Thai TV Channel 7, since Dee Hup and YYDS are still fairly new entertainment companies. This is just what I assuming only though. All I gotta say is that I'm SOOOOOO glad that they choose a good project to invest in and bring the story to it's full potential on-screen as a series.

I agree! I feel the same as well! Nonkul is one of the best Thai actor out there, and to be playing in a higher quality and higher budget Thai BL resulted in a masterpiece indeed! Bright is still fairly new in the entertainment industry, but I think he's really good at portraying his emotions very well. Chemistry is top notch!!!

Final comment review: This show has topped all of the BLs I've ever watched so far!!! 10/10!!! I'm going to miss this show so much! Honestly, even if this show wasn't a BL, I still think this production crew did a really good job of everything... the pacing of the story, the casts, the music, the vibes, the romance... just everything! THE WAIT FOR 1 YEAR WAS ALL WORTH IT!!! My gut feeling should have been right from the start. When they had Nonkul as the main lead, and it was also the same company that produced "My Lovely Writer," I knew from the start that this show was going to be spectacular! Bright and Nonkul's chemistry pulled this show together and its really a masterpiece in my heart now!! The last time I've cried with sad tears was the Miracle of Teddy Bear, but this time around, I've cried with so many happy tears! 🥰😍

After watching episode 11, I really thought that there was going to be a sad ending, or an open-ending, but who would have thought it would be a happy, yet open-ending in the last episode?! Perfect choice to put it out there for the viewers! I'm happy that its a happy ending where we can wish there is season 2! Lol good choice by the director! I really hope that if season 2 does happen, we need the exact same crew to finish off the whole story in the novel!!

If this show dont win any awards, Imma be piss! Lol jk. Now, I hope they released a boxset soon! I need to have it in my collection! Can't also wait the special episode to come out as well!!!

I remember watching an interview on youtube, and Bright said that they had to talk soft and slower for the characters in the show. And yea... I find both of their voices so soothing in the show lol. Not sure about in real life tho lol. I love their tones in this show. I can definitely fall asleep hearing them talking.

I agree. I hate waiting. Ideally in dramaland, its not a really good idea to have 2 storyline with 2 sets of different characters in 1 drama unless it truly connects with one another. Mainly what I mean is that we cannot miss the 2nd part, or else the whole story will not make sense at all. Seeing how the drama unfolds, it seems like we can still have an ending that make sense for the 1st part of the book. I'm pretty satisfied with this story and invested my love for this era's characters. I'm not sure if I can move on with Khun Yai if they did both eras into 1 show. And in dramaland, I think it's nice that it can end the way it is too. Regardless how they will end the story, I'm already preparing that it can be a sad ending just how it happened in "the Miracle of Teddy Bear."

I think we will have to see if they have enough budget for season 2 since it's set during the ancient era. I feel like the film company can easily end the show next week with a good ending if they wanted to because this era have it's own story. We just gotta see how everything is after the show ends. I say likely they may not choose to do the 2nd part of the book.

Seeing the direction of episode 11, there's 3 kinds of ending that I can foresee. I feel like they may have an open-ending where season 2 can happen if they have enough budget for season 2 (since there is more to the story). Another ending is where it's all happy I can see is when Jom goes back to his time and sees Khun Yai again. Another ending is where its all a sad ending where he doesnt see Khun Yai again.

Other than that, next week is the last episode! Its been such a beautiful journey and I'm so glad that the hype was really all worth it so far! I love all the casts, the vibe, the OST, the romance, and the story overall! I don't have any regrets watching this one!

One thing I gotta say is that Nonkul does pick some of the best shows to star in. I've seen some of his stuff awhile and I know he always been one of the best Thai actor out there. It's his first BL and this one did justice on his acting and chemistry with Bright. Bright is still fairly a new actor, but I'm glad he's part of this show too. I love his acting and the way he speak to Jom in the show. Its a like a soft slow voice I can literally sleep to when he's talking lol.

I watched up to episode 7 and honestly, its kinda hot (or fun to watch) seeing the younger man being the top and taking the lead too. Never have I imagine it being like that.... like Zong Yi was meant to be the top from the start when he was actually taller than Rui lol. I like the different dymanics in this show. And I never really felt bored watching this show cuz all the guys are actually pretty cute and hot in their own ways. I like the fact that the show balanced itself really well between the main story and the love stories. Even tho each episode isnt that long, I feel like I was able to follow the story well. Hopefully, it ends a good note. I hope its not a disappointing ending.

Finally finished it. Yea, it was nothing too exciting, but I do love Joong's acting though. I love seeing Joong and Dunk make out almost every episodes too lol. I felt like that was the only thing that kept me on watching to the end. The show's storyline was kinda everywhere after Joke and Zo got together, and I was unsure where the story was going. I guess if you want to watch something light and everything gets resolved and everyone is happy, then I guess you can give this a go.

I think they are doing well in China, as Bright and Nonkul are both featured in the upcoming Pause China magazine. The only way we can watch it is mostly through youku international, and gagaoolala. I mean, of course there's illegal websites too.

Reading people's comments made me wish and hope that season 2 will happen. Episode 8 just literally top the most romantic episode before things are goes down south!!! Honestly, I cannot wait for the end anymore. Can anyone help explain or spoil some things to me? There's a few unanswered questions that still puzzles me. Why did Jom travels back in time? How was he able to travel back in time? Why was he meant to see Khun Yai? What thing, event, or place was that make Jom able to travel back in time? What was his purpose to travel back in time? I feel like the show hasn't really show us why travels back to this specific era. Perhaps, we would see it towards the end of this show, but I cannot wait any longer lol. I need these stuff explained to me lol.

I think it's quite popular. If you watched the press conference (it's fully subbed in English as well), foreign companies bought the rights to this drama before it even airs. Bright and Nonkul are being featured in an upcoming Chinese magazine - 候场 Pause China Magazine. Seems like this drama is doing well in China.

I'm so glad that this series had a very good production overall. The characters were well-picked. The setting and the vibes are top notch! Most importantly, the chemistry is on fire!!! The music fits the theme so well! I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BL!! Episode 7 is where we get that kiss in the rain and it's so beautiful!! I will gladly say that this show is my most favorite show of 2023!!!

So true! I feel the same way! I've always thought to myself why I love 20th century era theme so much and I think its because the romance vibe just really hits different than most modern love story. I mean, dont get me wrong... I love modern-day love story depending on my mood too, but 20th century romance vibe really just have a place in my heart. I think thats why I love "khun chai" as well.
