Such a beautiful sad story! Perfectly filmed. Acting is something out of this world, Bai Lu made me cry (although I rarely cry heh). It's a real gem in cdramas' world, top quality in all respects. Looking forward to Forever and Ever.

I think you should try at least the 1st episode to understand if it's your cup of tea. (I mean one full episode which is 60 minutes, in this show they split it into 2 half hour episodes) . The beginning is quite dynamic so you'll get an impression immediately. I don't mind romance so it was OK for me. But I read a lot of negative opinions from those who were disappointed that there was too little romance there. As for the comedy side most of the situations are connected with the main couple interaction, although there are hilarious moments with side characters (law firm staff mainly).

I've fallen in love with this drama as well as with all its characters! It's such a good well-balanced show with great humour! Really good balance between romance/comedy/thriller (detective). People who expect it to be just a sweet romantic comedy might be disappointed, as there's a really good detective storyline in the centre of the show apart from romance and comedy. I don't think 40 episodes (20 usual) were too long, I didn't get enough of them. It's a real gem in my collection. I'm going to watch it again soon.

BTW there are quite a few Turkish dramas which exploit this boss/employee romance plot. If you are interested, try Full Moon (Dolunay), Early Bird (Erkenci Kuc). There must be more, just can't remember the titles.

"Love for Rent" (Kiralik Ask) Turkey, 2015-2017. Unless you don't mind watching 69 episodes though, ahahaha! Turkish dramas are quite long as a rule. As for Love for Rent, it's one of the best in this genre (romcoms) in the world, I think.
