Just finished binge watching this in order to recover from Flower of Evil being over. I really enjoyed it. Lee Joon Gi is wonderful with children and the little girl was adorable. Lots of twists and turns. Never boring!

That biological mother, ugh!! No wonder Sang Ah turned out to be such a nasty individual after being raised by someone like that. I'm happy to see Bok Hee standing firm against all the hurt she dishes out. I'm hoping that by the end of this drama they all get their act together and learn to live like decent human beings.

Waiting for that moment is just what the writers are setting you up for. Don 't give up. It gets better.

Flower of Evil and Mother. This is my favorite director. Will keep an eye out for what comes next from him and check out all of those I haven't seen yet. Thank you for your wonderful work. You inspire!

I have no problem sith the ending. Do Hyun Soo was a person who was lost to himself. Because his wife and daughter loved him we see him in the end beginning to find himself. For me that was a perfect ending and the whole point of the drama, the healing power of love. Do Hyun Soo never lost the ability to feel love. His family recognized this and it saved him. I agree with the person who said this is a masterpiece. Highly recommended! Edge of your seat thriller. Deep and profound human emotion. Superb acting and perfect ost!

Really enjoying the quiet pace and mellow feeling of this drama! Just hate waiting for the next episode though!

For me the whole point of the story was a person who by adjusting to the harshness of circumstance has lost contact and belief in his true nature. Because of love in his life he is able to dig down and find himself and his true feelings. I think this is just an awesome drama. A perfect 10. Handled delicately and with depth. Really good acting all around. My favorite drama of the year!

From the comments I read here I see that the writers may be achieving their objective, or possibly it's just the way the story looks to me. We have two characters at odds. One remains always true to herself and her values while the other is a mass of insecurities which cause chaos and destruction all around her. How satisfying it would be to see this balanced. This is my hope. I'm already pitying the one and finding satisfaction in the other. Being a daily extended "soap opera" I don' t expect this to happen quickly but just to be slowly drawn emotionally in. The actors are doing a fine job of it!
