they actually handle the conflicts between characters so well. they feel realistic, aren't dragged out, and solved relatively fast, with everyone apologizing and reflecting on their actions - learning and growing because that's what young adults do. as someone who drops shows without hesitance if misunderstandings arise that aren't being confronted and talked about for days and episodes, this is just SUCH a treat. the communication has been so wonderful from the beginning and i am so happy to see such a healthy and realistic portrayal of it. because yes, conflicts arise in every relationship - whether romantic or platonic. that's normal. urgh, i'm just so happy with how everything's portrayed and that's just one small thing of many this show does right. 😠< 3 THANK YOU WRITERS.
fantastic episode, albeit emotionally DEVASTATING. and when i say i cried from start to finish - i mean it. managed to develop the relationships the past episodes, and smoothly return to the story this episode. this was insanely good, HOW DOES THIS SHOW ONLY GET BETTER AND BETTER.
need to stare at my wall for the next few minutes and process
what I appreciate most about this series, is that they did not sacrifice plot for the sake of letting the main characters interact more - it's slow burn, and it NEEDS to be slow burn. this is fantastic, dmd really are redeeming themselves for me here.
i don't know what i expected going into this after hearing about this show and it being omegaverse, but this first episode was actually so good. i am invested now LMAO
i finally got around to watching this, but kluen just not being able to open his damn mouth is insanely infuriating. like, how long does this miscommunication drag out. i am at episode 6 now, and it's getting on my nerves. it IS on my nerves.
I have avoided this show for months, given the hate and bad reviews it has been getting, thinking it was no good, up until two days ago. I craved something sweet, something where I don't need to think much: something to take your mind off. Thus, I decided to give this show a go and what ? The hate this show receives is absolutely NOT justified. I went into this show with absolutely zero expectations but I was pleasantly surprised: the story flows well, the cinematography is beautiful and the actors have great chemistry.
I see people complain how this show is just too far from reality: and to that i can only counter, if you have ever watched a romance movie, a romance kdrama ? Most of them are /far/ from reality, but that's what they are: a cliche, cute and sweet, romantic story. And mind me, my favorite show is " I told sunset about you ". I'm the biggest fan of BL's protraying real life relationships, but not every show has to. That aside, the main couple actually had good communication - the annoying secret keeping aside. It's one big flaw the show had, one I did roll my eyes at. In my opinion, it's a depiction of two very different love languages, but that's straying from my intent.
So if you're wondering wether or not to give this show a watch: just give it a shot. You may end up liking it more than you thought you would, or you'll hate it - and both opinions are just as valid. In my opinion it's a decent show. Not perfect, but sweet candy to enjoy in between.
