Okay!!!...so why does nan heng have to suffer this much?...from his father....his friend...and the girl he loves?...all…
THANK YOU!! they use this man like a human punching bag. stabbing him, shooting him, whipping him to their hearts content and somehow HES THE BAD GUY????? the writing is really really pissing me off. the FL and the second male lead deserve each other with their stupid annoying prejudices and unmatched lack of critical thinking. who tf wrote this????? i am enraged.

if you find this show. watch it. if you want honest characters, serious topics, thoughtful delivery and no overacting. this is the one. you'll feel like you know these characters and wish you had access to them in real life. and it's a good laugh. the show is written so brilliantly. by the end the audience is in on all the inside jokes, and we feel like a part of the group and feel so close to the characters.

i found this show at just the right time in my life. I'm the same age as the characters and in the same state of unstable uncertain transition. maybe thats why i feel each ep hits so hard. its a mirror. its a comfort. its scary but with each episode i feel more okay with the ambiguity that is the future.

you can always trust Japanese media to be one of 2 extremes: grounded in realism, super heartfelt, thoughtful, honest almost to the point of depression, and makes you think critically about your life OR ridiculous nonsense.
