I disagree with your opinion. I think this matter is subjective. Some people just can't accept weak female lead, even if she will be written as strong female lead you will still hear complain. She isn't a poor character, she still contributed to the team, yes she is not overpowering and isn't physically strong but her strength lies in different area, she is strong willed and she is the one who made the demon hunting team come together without her they would be ruthless and not grow from their own mindsets. I think this is subjective and it just depends on whether one can accept weak fl or not. IMO Wen Xiao is not a bad character, yes she is physically weak but if you only focus on that aspect you will miss out on other aspects that make her character. She stood as a pillar for the group which brought them closer together, she is clever and she saved ZYZ.
