Currently on ep 16 with the Fox Clan arc and I really can't seem to understand why ML won't tell FL the truth…
He wants to find the weak water stone by himself at first but he knew it can be dangerous in the fox clan so he had her stay back as she is already having too much nosebleed. But, I think main reason he didn't want her to overall go out anymore is because he knows Bai Shuo might encounter another contemplation stone again if she goes out and that is the last thing Fan Yue wanted. So for Fan Yue pov it wasn't a good solution. Then at the fox clan his reaction when Bai Shuo had another vision made him worry even more. He really doesn't want her to get involve. So it was quite logical and not for another cliche scene imo. Bcoz technically thats how desireless stone works, the more BS ventures out the more she gains new contemplation.
