Can we also talk about Miao Jing's mom? 😭 I spent most of the drama being frustrated with her, but somehow the writers still managed to make me cry for her in the end. That's when you know the writing did something right.
One thing I especially appreciate is how balanced the main leads were. Neither of them came from wealth or privilege—they were both ordinary people who fought their way through life's hardships, slowly growing into stronger versions of themselves. They weren't there to "save" each other financially or magically fix each other's lives. Instead, they stood beside one another, understood each other's struggles, and grew together.
