Anything related to memory is such a trope and yet they were done so beautifully. Good writing and acting can make a simple story so beautiful and fresh. The unwillingness and resistance to lose her memory was shown so beautifully.
Currently rewatching and I want to talk about a scene I really like and can relate to
The next day after ML confessed, they're on the tram and the ML got into the tram to accompany the FL thinking she would have issue with the stops (based on her experience with metro). FL tells ML she has no problem with tram stops and that ML should get off in the next station to catch the train. Here, ML's expression changes to somewhat of a disappointment. I can relate to this and following things would come to my mind if I was the ML: 1. She's saying it because she wants to be alone and is not keen on spending more time with me. 2. She genuinely cares for me since I'm late for my train.
Since FL didn't speak about MLs confession or give any response, the ML's mind is leaning towards the negative and possible rejection (point 1), though pretty unlikely. Even though all the signs were there that the FL also likes him; it's the thing with confession, there's always that fear of rejection.
Now, this next part is one of my fav scene.
The next stop comes and ML asks FL to text when she arrives and proceeds to get off. FL pulls his bag and stops him (we can see she's very shy and hesitant but couldn't hold back) to do the same when he reaches home. Then we can see the MLs face light up, because he knew at this point, she cared.
Sorry for the long writeup but I really wanted to share it 😅
You know why this drama is bad? It's because it makes you want to go back in time and have that first love experience again. Kudos to everyone for bringing this drama to life.
Absolutely loving this so far. Though I'm trying to decide if the ML's eyes staring at the FL are 'love at first…
Yea, in the eyes/glance department, gotta give it to the FL. The way she looks at the ML is exactly how you would want to be looked at by your GF/Wife.
They are cousins. But they call each other brother and sister.
Very relatable. We usually introduce each other to others as brothers/sisters. Only when someone specifically ask you or when it's necessary, then you clarify.
I can't imagine how the drama would turn out if done by average actors. The two leads couldn't have been better. Their interaction, the way they look at each other. If they had GF/BF in real life, seeing this drama would make them jealous because it's so good hahaha
My immediate reaction after seeing Xun'er's name in the sub: "That can't be Xun'er!!!" hahahahaha. I thought she would be some kind of a teacher, too old to be Xun'er. Terrible casting. Also, the fight seems off. I'm scared of going further 😅
