Yes, Hye Jin is coolly evil, eg she intends evil upon HDM at the end of Ep 8. IOW, she intends to produce HDM's debut film which she believes it will flop and only 3 billion won (abt US$3 million) of govt grant money will go down the drain, which is not her money.
This will be a fun ride, because there is a lot I have to criticize about this series. The script tries too hard…

Very good drama. IRL, if we want our seasons to be radiant yearly, we need to be good-doing and law-abiding, eg "whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them" and vice versa "whatever you want men to do not to you, do not also to them" = the Golden Rule.
