I of course can't speak for everyone on these boards who have been a little more critical of the series, but I…
I completely understand your point too. And for you, you’ve said you enjoy watching the show and having critiques about the plot and things like that are completely justified and would be even if you didn’t like it although I don’t understand personally why one would continue to waste time and energy on something they didn’t enjoy but again that’s just my opinion. With my comment I was more so aiming that to people who are attacking Pooh and being unnecessarily negative towards him or other aspects of the show. Bc I feel like you can definitely see a difference in posts critiquing plot points and characters on the basis of analysis and posts being hateful and negative to a point that I feel is unwarranted. But again that’s just how I feel personally about some of the comments I saw that lead me to get frustrated and leave my comment but I understand other people view things differently than I do.
The hate against Charlie is so weird to me. Most comments are talking about Pooh’s acting and it would be better if someone else was casted as Charlie which fine if that’s what you think. However, that is how that character is written so if the actor was different you would still be getting the same cutesy clingy character. I really don’t understand it and Pooh’s acting is fine and I honestly don’t see how it could be better. I feel a lot of you are overly critical and set unreasonable standards for yourselves. I also understand not liking the plot and the actions of some characters too bc the show is a little different to what we usually get but this show is set in a fictional world where you are already suspending your disbelief (people don’t have powers or are alphas) so to dislike the show because the racing aspect (like Charlie learning too quickly and things like that) isn’t realistic is funny to me bc the entire thing is so silly and unrealistic. It’s a lot more fun and enjoyable to watch these shows while not taking them too seriously. I’m also probably getting too frustrated at the comments here where you claim to just be analytical but you clearly don’t really like anything about the show and instead of moving on and finding something else you continue to just hate watch. When I don’t like something I stop engaging in content involving whatever it is so maybe I just really can’t understand the urge to keep watching something I don’t like🤷♀️
