The absolute perfection of a drama that will satiate needs you didn't even know you had

"absolute cinema" is genuinely the only word I can use to describe the absolute treasure that was Healer. First off, can we talk about Ji Chang-wook? Husband much?? Lmao, everything aside, he is so ridiculously attractive, charming, and talented that I was giggling like crazy every single time he was on screen! He hits the nail on the head with every single emotion, whether he's doing insane parkour stunts or acting like a nervous puppy.

Mind you, I went into this drama totally blind without knowing a single member of the cast, and I came out as a hardcore fan for life which speaks volumes about their incredible acting and flawless execution.

This show basically gives you everything on a silver platter. If strong, capable characters all around both male and female are your thing, watch it. If you're tired of dramas hitting a bump in the road with stupid, nonsensical love triangles or noble-idiocy breakups, watch it. I LOVE a queen who stands firmly by her man without letting outside noise get to her, and a king who starts looking forward to a real future because of her. If you enjoy a story packed with high-stakes action, swoon-worthy romance, political corruption, and edge-of-your-seat intensity, then this was tailor-made for you.

The acting by the ENTIRE cast was flawless from top to bottom:
• Kim Moon-ho (Yoo Ji-tae): You are a star for real. I loved how supportive, loving, and deeply reliable he was an absolute GOAT of a character.
• Ahjumma: How could I possibly not mention her?? Her banter with Healer and elite hacker skills stole every single scene.
• Teacher: A true legend. You will honestly be missed so much!
• The Someday News Crew: I loved them too, their chaotic workplace energy added so much fun to the show.
• The Old Friend Group: Their history, loyalty, and how their past tied every single plot line together had me completely invested (may have caused me to shed a few tears here and there)

The OST was amazing and fitted like a glove in every single scene it played in. Healer makes you go through the entire spectrum of emotions across its 20 episodes, and even when it hits you in the feels and makes you cry, it’s still pure perfection. It’s heartwarming, touching, intriguing, action-packed, downright hilarious, and so ridiculously satisfying that when the credits roll, you'll still be left wishing for more.

Do yourself a favor and go watch it immediately. 10/10, I’m definitely rewatching this masterpiece!
