This drama needs a sequel. Very well-portrayed by the actors especially Ma Xiaoyu.

The drama was well-portrayed by each of the character. Congratulations to all of them and they did everything well especially Ma Xiaoyu whose career is skyrocketing now. I like the actors. They are all professionals. I like them all! ♥♥♥

Nevertheless, I was heart-broken with the ending :( I wasn't satisfied with it. I know ,nobody cares but it just hurts me how the scriptwriter weighted wrongly for the youngest son's life ( Haoxi), with this woman- Zixhia. I already said of facebook that I hope this will have a sequel and have Haoxi fall out of love. Also, If I were the scriptwriter, I would have written how Haoxi would fall out of love and began losing his interest towards his sister-in-law by the time he had an accident and was bumped into a car. A lot of people are blaming Haoxi, but have you thought of blaming the woman who caused all the troubles in and outside the Gu Family? I might've made a mistake because only some of the episodes have english subtitles... but reading the translated comments from chinese to english, I don't barely see any defect on my opinion. Why let the woman be the hero of the story if she's the reason of everyone's collapse? She could've left for everybody's sake but she completely lost it when the mother-in-law told her she'd send her abroad. She begged her mother-in-law not to send her. She didn't want to leave her brother-in-law. It was simply because she fell in love with him but she was too shy and arrogant to admit. She wanted her reputation not be stained by her affair with her brother-in-law. She was the first one who made a move in their affair. She kissed him. She was the one who showed desire in having her hold by him, kiss her, and more. So why don't people blame her? Truly, there are a lot of sexist in this world. People don't judge her becasue she is a woman and always think that all women are victims. Well, hello, NO! In this drama, Haoxi was also the victim. Dare to ask me! The scriptwriter can twist the story, sure. But like I said on facebook, only fantasy is this accepted and foolish people will believe her lies. In court and in Science, her reasons would be taken nulled. She could be even taken to a Psychiatrist if she insists on telling people that she sees haonan in Haoxi. She knows, she is with Haoxi. She just keeps on denying it. She just doesn't want to admit that she fell in love even stronger with her brother-in-law. If the scriptwriter would see this and would keep his stance saying, Zixhia did not fall in love with the borther-in-law, I would strongly not concur with him/her! I live in reality not in fantasy. In real life, Zixhia won't be the hero here unless people are sexist. And imagine how she wanted Haoxi to adjust to her until everybody gets old? She wanted her to pretend that he is the uncle of his own kids?!! She's crazy! If I were the mother-in-law, I will not or NEVER, let my son be controlled by a lunatic woman like her. I will not let my son be known uncle by his own children. I will fight for my son's rights until the end. This woman either choose to be sent to a Psychiatrist for her pretense or have her accept that she already fell in love with my youngest son. Eitherway will make me breathe somehow. Should she choose to pretend she saw haonan in him, believe me, If I were the mother, I would take her to court or to a PSychiatrist. I would want to have this all end. All because of the love I have for my son. I will never let my son be controlled and be manipulated by a crazy woman like her. I thought at first, Haoxi was crazy here but after I watched all of the episodes, Zixhia is even crazier. She's the craziest in this drama.
The ending is so unfair for every Gu family. It was only swift for 1 person- Zixhia. Who was the reason why every problems arose in Gu family. I wish the directors would acknowledge the fans' request to have this sequeled. And I hope by that time, the ending would be just/fair for Haoxi.

But let me be fair- I like all of the actors. They are all professionals. This is my first time to see actor Huang Bo. I think he's handsome too and good at acting but anyway, I rated 10/10 eventhough I wasn't satisfied with the ending. This drama was the best among Ma Xiaoyu's dramas so far. It's realistic and not childish. And I like all of the actors. Their acting skill is a pro. Furthermore, Zixhia is the best FL for Ma Xiaoyu among the FLs that I have seen him worked with. I really like this drama.. the acting was superb. Ma Xiaoyu has improved and he's phenominal but I still can't get over the ending T.T

I really like Ma Xiao Yu.. everything in him! I do not like Meng Na. I don't like her acting. I don't like her face. I am sorry. I hope next time, Ma Xiao Yu will be paired up with a cutie lady or a beautiful woman. Not very tall. Sometimes, in Asia, a very tall woman, looks like a man. Why not Xiao Yu be paired up with Chai Hui Xin and the other beautiful actresses? Although I think Meng Na,his FL that I do not like the most, I'll still give this rating a 10 because of Ma Xiao Yu. I have nothing to say about the movie because it doesn't interest me. Like I frankly said, I do not like Meng na.

I will watch all of Ma Xiao Yu's dramas!

Until now, I don't understand this.. :( I am so sure that the FL wasn't his biological sister in the drama? I like this drama nonetheless. But it still bugs me everytime I hear in the drama, the word, 'sister". I have to reread the plot or rewatch so I could understand his relation to the FL in this drama. I was misled because of the translation.. But I like the last part where Ma Xiao Yu pretended that he has a brain problem.. He was so cute! I never thought he could also nail portraying a role like that. I actually watched that part over and over again.. but I didn't like the part where he shot the guy at the beginning of the story. I mean, how could you love a guy like that, right? Just kill a person like he's a mosquito? I do not understand this part.. and eventually he shows how kind he is to her.. that's insane! so once again, the plot was nice.. but then again., I always say that if it's all about Ma Xiao Yu, I will watch!

I will watch all of Ma Xiao Yu's dramas!

I actually like this drama. It was awkward to watch how Ma Xaio Yu played a role of a lunatic- domineering man. A man who thought he didn't love the woman. Well, as a teacher, I made a survey and asked men about this. And I was right! that a man will not soon find out if he loves the woman or not. You know, like us, women, we on impulse, we knew exactly if we like a guy... anyway, I think all of Chinese dramas have messed-up plot. I haven't seen or watched one with a perfect plot. But like I always say, I will watch whatever the dramas are because of Ma Xiao Yu! You know, we are all there to see his acting ability. His authority in the movie. He's superb! He stands out among the other chinese actors. He outshines them. Meaning, although the dramas that mostly given to him weren't as good as it has to be, still people watched it because it's Ma Xiao Yu! What more if the plot is nice and better? Ma Xiao Yu wouldn't let his guard down, I am sure, he would be so thrilled and stirred in doing his role portrayal! Anyway, this drama is good somehow and Ma Xaio Yu here is VERY HANDSOME!

Sad story but worth to watch

I actually didn't like the plot. There were impossible scenes that I usually find in Asian dramas not only in China. However, I watched this because of Ma Xiao Yu at mainly. I really like his acting skills. Furthermore, the drama was sad. It was quite messed up because they made ML Xiaoyu looked stupid in the drama by showing his ignorance and the FL's character is annoying as well. I always think why do chinese dramas are almost all the same? When man loves a woman, woman will do something to make him jealous and think of his love for her twice? Why do that? Why make the man suffer? Why???? If you love the man, then take food care of him. Love him. Say it. Express it. I do not understand why in the dramas, women are so annoying! And in the end, when the man lost his interest, the woman would take revenge? That's stupidity! I hate it but let me say it again that I like Ma Xiao Yu actor a lot and more than anyone else in CDrama. He's the only one that I like. So whatever the plots of his dramas are, I'm sure I'll be there and watch him!

I apologize for not finishing this drama. I was curious then because it was all about Ma Xiao Yu. I know it was a good drama. I would give time to watch this. I submitted a review because I knew that if it's Ma Xiao Yu, it would be perfect! So I did, submit. Honestly, I want to see Ma Xiao Yu paired up with a very beautiful woman because he is very handsome. I think his match is in Hollywood. He would be better off with Blake Lively, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Therone, Hailey Stanfield, Mackenzie Foy, Amber Heard and other beautiful actresses there. I wish he could be in Hollywood! With his looks and acting skills, he should have been there!
