When Deng Ke made Shenli with same Leads.. there was such a huge cheer from all .... Hence the funny scene of ZhaoliYing pulling Kenny Lil from the water by his hair.... they were just joking about it... PA is very serious drama... First Part is with the second lead..and second part with the ML, thats how the story is..
We shouldnt be discussing other dramas on this page....lol! since its 2018 drama not many people will be here...

BTW Princess Agent is totally political, power struggle during the times of Northern Wei, when poor people had no value... can be kidnapped and used....!! Both the leads were really great.. beautiful OSTs, beautiful locations, cinematography and such choregraphed fights... there is no harem... only slaves... there is a great scene where the FL kills one wicked old fool....! also another one i really liked where she horse rides holding a flag... To My understanding costume dramas are Wuxia means Martial Arts and historical, Xinxia means Fantasy but can also be with Martial Arts... Legend of Shenli is one example... i laughed so much also enjoyed the actions.. I enjoyed their Princess Agents too, that was my first Cdrama...
Ever Night is another drama worth watching, Good Action, cinematography. 18 YO Arthur Chen is the main lead in that..
I like Romance tto, if its without too much cliches ... two dramas example is Here we meet Again (Vin Zhang), and Amidst a snowstorm of Love...
Story of Minglan is another amazing family drama, I wish I have seen that a bit earlier in life.. i would have learned to scheme... a bit.. lol!! Both the leads was too good. I lost count of time I rewatched it... it has a huge cast and from tiny tots to elderly grandmother... that was art of perfection... I admire that Director for his creativity.
Actually I am currently watching "Brocade Odyssey" by the same director who did TROP, and the Crown Prince here is the bad guy in BO, and Ning Yi's body guard here is the nicest person here... so I came here to check if they are same...lol!!

Chen Kun's Ning Yi is so irreplaceable from the top... and equally amazing ZhiWei...but i feel the decisions she took in the last 10 episodes.. was so not WeiZhi, total contradictory.
After 100s of cdramas, I have yet to watch TMoPB, Ashes of Love, and I was not that enthu about Love and Redemption too... it can be that I prefer to watch palace conspiracies to just too much romance..! After this you should watch The Story of Kunning Palace.... thats a good one to get over the misery from this SE....
