Just finished ep 2 and its really looking good, Leon Zhang broke everyone's heart in Tears in Heaven, Here both are really looking good and compatible... I like our tall FL, Elaine Zhong Drama looks interesting...
First drama of Song Zuer I watched was Novoland: Eagle Flag, I started that for Liu Hao Ran who is an amazing actor and was amazed by this little thing who reminded me a lot of Zhao LiYing... a younger version, I think she has potential to be No. 1 one day... I went on to watch To Fly with you, Cupid's Kitchen, The bond and finally Legally Romance. So amazed by such natural acting... so talented. I wish her all the very best to overcome all the troubles she is facing and gave us a lot more dramas..!!
I skip a lot 25 earlier episodes..I start to enjoy this since eps 30 lol and never skip again XD
I think she always had a soft corner for him bcoz she could talk to him freely without any care, and he in turn always thought about her reputation unlike QiHeng, who was a child at heart just go for what he wants without thinking of the consequences. The turning point maybe when she told him, she will wait for him to return, when he went to save the emperor... maybe! slightly.... lol!
The scene where GTY came and fought with Minglan in the restaurant, she sent her maids away without any worry, bcoz she knows he is good, and also advised him about Manning, that scene in the restaurant was adorable....she said she will never marry him (Ep18). All the bold talk and fight she could only do with him. Thats why he always call her a fox, bcoz he have seen her true colors...lol!
But best scene is the conversation Minglan has with her father in EP 65, its big wow...! she really string him up....!
I know the last 10 episodes were so messed up, total out of character ..of the FL, But both Main Leads and BaiJingTing were amazing..!

I have lost count of time I came back and watched this drama... after skipping and watching some fast dramas... this is an amazing creation. Like I wrote much earlier.. every time I rewatch i understand things a bit more.. Like first time when i watched, i was annoyed with Minglan not loving GTY enough... but later you will understand how careful she is to show emotions after growing up seeing such unreliable men around her. Eventhough she never thought of GTY in a romantic way, she knew him as a person who does what he says. When everyone went for the Exam in a grand way, only GTY came walking and her maid said he is the one with least limelight, so Minglan replied, "If that young master wants to grab limelight, I fear even the Ducal Manor (QiHeng) can't cover it". Which show how high she thinks of him. (Ep 11) There is another drama worth watching for acting and story is "The Rise of Phoenixes" amazing, but the ending is cliff hanger.. I knew that initially so I was hesitant to watch... but once you start you cannot put that down...!

I wont be very happy, if his mother is not punished hard for the way she manipulated and emotionally blackmailed her son, made a monster of her step son and tried to drown ZJ and insulted her at every turn. I wont be happy if they twist the story to make us feel sympathy towards her... I am not that angry with FXZ, the way he acted with his grandfather and the company, its all bcoz he never had a good life.. I feel its forgivable once the misunderstanding is over... bcoz deep inside he loves YS... however hard he tried to ignore that..! the brothers were very close.

Even i was thinking breaking off when she lost her grandma was a bit cruel... but i tried to justify thinking, he knows unless he totally show he is not with her.. his mom wont be convinced... and he was afraid in his sick condition he might not be able to protect her.... !

Thats bcoz she knows he loved his mother too much and mother tried to drown her... naturally she wont be living with him happily...! she just told him, give me time to work the relationship with mother..

Now he just said no future.. so no point in hanging around.. thats why she left...

Just watched ep 33 and realised anyone in XZ's place would go crazy and dont think straight, he has pend up anger from the age of 5 burning inside and all comes bursting out and XZ tells his Grandfather what all in his heart and grandfather agrees also he did everything...
I am not justifying XZ, bcoz he married and used Ruanruan without a blink, yes he told her earlier many times, he is not interested.. totally emotionless..
The emotional line in ep 32 where ZJ says to YS, when he told lets break up, was sooo touching, "Yushen, Our relationship is very precious, Can you please stop saying no and just dont want it" her voice was breaking with emotion. She really excelled in this drama..
I really loved Fu Yunshen and Dr Zhu. They really looked good together. I want to see them more. I always rewatching…
Yes.. I waited and watched this after seeing them both in "stand by Me", they were so good in that also. Here also both did brilliant acting.. all are annoyed bcoz of the misery they have to go through....

Yea.. obviously he is not good, bcoz XZ is older than FY, that means he left them also, I think there are lots of back stories to tie up like how he died... etc. XZ's mother died bcoz of YZ mother, she also threatened ZJ by holding her down in Pool. that shows she is capable of anything to achieve the result she wants..

But no excuses can justify the mothers actions esp towards her only son, she drove her husband out, in episode 10, she tries to manipulate FYS to marry Zhizhi and he say, he dont want to end up like her in a loveless marriage and there is a flashback of his father tellingher, how can I love a person who uses all means to serve her own interest...!
Same way when Gu family cancelled a meeting, XZ went and got engaged to a love sick Ruanruan who was willing to do anything for him... but he was only marrying her for her parents support and influence.. which slowly she realised and more will come out in the coming episodes....
