Arthur Chen did Ever Night when he was 18 years and it was an amazing job, you can say he carried the drama. But Legend of Awakening didnt do well... so its all on story, directions.. etc but of course the acting.. expressing emotions so well, how serious he was, and i just couldn't believe its a teenager u are watching.. Liu Hao Ran, liked him in With you ... very good indeed, serious acting... and of course.. Fei Liu.. how can anyone ever forget... left such a lasting impression... Wish all of them.. all the best..

Recently, Ciwen Media disclosed the progress of major film and television works that have not yet been completed in the "Announcement on Reply to the Inquiry Letter of Shenzhen Stock Exchange Annual Report". Zhao Liying was quite disappointed when she was unable to film the whole novel when she thought she was going to. She said in a 2017 interview that she couldn't display Chu Qiao's full character potential which is in the second half of the novel. Fellow costars Shawn Dou and LGX even mentioned they probably won't be coming back as their respective roles if ZLY doesn't come back as Chu Qiao.
I must say, i have seen Ever Night and was damn impressed by this 18 year old actor carrying that drama all the way to success. It was an awesome drama with so many brilliant actors, but its his character of a child with terrible past, ready to take on anything to better himself to take revenge on all the people who savaged his past. He was super for a teenager doing his first drama, emotional traumas expressed on his face was impressive. Fight scenes was so well choreographed, His character glued the whole cast together to make it so enjoyable. I wish him all the best.
Ever Night 2 had Meteor Garden's Dylan Wang, which was total opposite character portrayal, I couldn't continue after ep 1. Dylan Wang showed a more happy Ning Que, whereas Arthur Chen more somber.
I really enjoyed what i have seen so far, I came here after watching the 13th prince (Xin Yun Lai) acting in "Dreaming back to Qing Dynasty". In this drama, I liked the story of how he became Mr. Honesty, and no matter what he looses, doesn't change. It shows how much his friendship meant to him and the pain and shame caused by a lie. Xin Yun Lai acting is really good, socially awkward and painfully honest. From what we have seen so far Liu Hai Kuan, as Li Zhe is also good. The little sis Shiye also a very special character... good acting.
