Funny how people who can't accept that there are others out there with a different opinion than theirs exists and immediately label any negative opinion as either hate or bot comments. As for your other statements regarding other series: those so called "pathetic" ones might've been not popular enough to attract this much viewers. Hence the higher (biased) ratings or lack of negative feedback. I for one, simply missed out on those or had no expectations to begin with therefore didn't bother to watch, unlike Fox Spirit Matchmaker where I, like many others, did have expectations for. This is not directed at you specifically but I see so many fans calling those with a honest negative opinion toxic. Well guess what: you guys are just as toxic as you claim us to be. Just because you think the drama wasn't that terrible doesn't mean that others do too 😉

I agree that scriptwise the FL is suppose to be older though I don't think it is necessary for her to also look much older as her role already portrays this fairly well with how her personality had been written. There are plenty of xianxia's out there with leads who are suppose to be 1000+ years old, yet still looking fairly young because of their immortality. Given how ML keeps calling her "older sister" I assume that this was the image that they were going for for her but seem to have completely missed.

Having watched more episodes now though, I do think Yang Mi gets better which makes me believe that it was just a poor combination of the script and ML who seem to lack chemistry with her. Had either of those three components been adjusted a bit to match the other it would've been far better, though this is just my opinion. Glad a lot of people still seem to enjoy it :)
