Title Fish upon the Sky Spoiler
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!Someone who has read the books has already confirmed that they are siblings indeed…
Yeah of course!

Ok this is gonna be a long post so brace yourself XD

Nan has two brothers. Nuea, his half brother, and Nakin, his step brother with whom he is not blood related. Their family situation is quite complicated. Let's just say that the parents, let's call them husband and wife to make it a little bit easier to understand, have one biological son Nuea. The husband had an affair with another woman and had Nakin. So Nakin is an illegitimate son. The wife out of spite had an affair as revenge, with the family driver and got pregnant to Nan. So both Nan and Nakin are half brothers to Nuea and step brothers and not blood related to each other.

Nuea has a great relationship with Nan and often pretends to be his boyfriend in order to protect him from all the people flirting with him. Nuea has a crush on Pi and becomes Mork's main rival in book. He is most likely the guy who kisses Pi on the forehead considering he is wearing the pin Pi gave Nan (that scene is not in the book).

As for Nakin, he is Nan's love. He is currently living in the US far from the family. They have their own book called "Stars in the water", if I am not mistaken. Their love story is pretty angsty, understandable, considering their complicated situation and that the father/husband fully aware that Nan isn't his biological son, hates him. From what I got, Nan tried to move on from Nakin and started dating Dr. Tat (who someone else wrote that he is actually a terrible person but I am not sure about that) but they eventually break up since Nan still loves Nakin.

There is also An, the brothers' cousin who sometimes also pretends to be Nan's boyfriend in order to protect him. Bam, Mork's friend, whom Pi is jealous of because he is afraid that she is his rival (although she and Mork are just friends in reality). And last but not least Wan, Pi and Duean's older brother.

And that's all I know so far :) Hope I helped!

Yeah, I completely agree! I read the comments before watching the first episode and I was worried it would end…
Exactly. Feeling you are not alone out there is even more important and vital right now, during this pandemic.
And that's also one of the reasons why I am so grateful to series like this one! They are like a comforting pat on the head during these challenging times.

"Fish upon the sky" was the other series I was thinking of as well! Perfect example of a much needed dose of fluffiness!

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy some of the more mature series out there (such as "I told sunset about you") and since I passed my college years, I appreciate watching series about working adults instead of engineer students, but that doesn't mean that series like this one or "Fish upon the sky", that follow the classic BL recipe, are bad and inferior. They just serve a different purpose. They are lighthearted romantic comedies and should be watched (and critiqued) as such.

"Not all gay couples have to go through dark times and so much suffering to be together." AMEN TO THAT! I guess that also has to do with the perception that for a movie, series or book to be of high quality, it has to be dramatic and end in tragedy. But still, LGBTQ cinema in general can seriously take a break form all the heartbreak!
Personally, I reached a point, although I hate it when people spoil movies and books for me, that in order to watch a BL movie or series I have to know it ends well beforehand, otherwise I am not watching it XD

Yeah, I recognised you from your photos! I remember reading a comment of yours a while back and agreeing with you and that's why your face and name were familiar. And now I keep stumbling upon your comments constantly XD To be honest I like it when I see the same users on different series and sites cause it gives me a sense of community that I really like :)

Who r the couples 4 this series?
I haven't read the books so I don't know for sure, but if my years of experience taught me anything my guess would be:
Jin x Bom
Jay x Song
Ball x Keam
U x Ultra and
Jack x Singh

I'm reading some bad comments here, but I honestly watched the entire episode with a smile on my face. I know…
Yeah, I completely agree! I read the comments before watching the first episode and I was worried it would end up being a huge disappointment.
But it was exactly what I was looking for! A lighthearted series, perfect to fix your mood. Not everything has to be serious, tragic or extremely original to be worth watching. Sometimes all you need is a familiar, pleasantly predictable, cute series to escape everyday life and relax.

ps. Lately, I see your comments on every BL series I've been watching! Both here and on YouTube! I guess we have similar tastes XD
