Small detail, but I really like how different the three "lucky stones" necklaces are. Dao's necklace looks more handmade cause it was the first necklace Fah made, Prince's necklace looks better, cause Fah had practiced more and Fah's necklace looks perfect cause Prince made it π
Can I please ask if it has a happy ending? Thank you in advance!
BLs are my sanctuary, there is no room for sad endings π Thank you so much, I will browse your lists once I have time! Although, my watchlist is already at almost 700 π May I ask, both "Stay with me "and "The Only One" have open endings, right?
I like it very much, but I think it's meant for an older audience (in their 30s). You can see that people in that age appreciate it a lot π It has occasionally the typical, random, Thai BL goofiness, but overall it addresses realistic, everyday topics and relationships. And of course TayNew are always a pleasure to watch! You can tell they are together for over a decade βΊοΈ
Was about to ask the same thing! Why is no one commenting about it? I went from worrying he would say "it's too soon" or something , to "ohhhh, it would be much worst , great, thanks π¬"
it feels like olliez character is not really in love with him ,he as the series is titled is too in deep with…
Zhen (Ollie's character) was, if not already in love, certainly already attracted and smitten by Zhang Zhun, way before the filming began. If you remember, they've met before, in a couple of other film sets, where Zhang Zhun was a body double for an actress, and Zhen had already noticed him and started liking him. That's why he chose him, because he already had feelings for him π
I'm SOOO excited for this series because unlike in this one, the bottoms actor has a very powerful role and top…
That makes the news even better!!! I also would love to see Guan Yue in a polar opposite role from Fan Fan, as I heard he is a total chameleon, and a completely different person in other series. And to see that, in another BL series, alongside Zhou Ning Jia again, it's like Christmas came early π
This 100%! I think you have to be slightly older to appreciate this series. I am in my 30s and for us, let's call…
Exactly!
That's why I love these series. It does have moments of the typical Thai BL goofiness, but overall the story is simple and realistic, without being dramatic or over the top. Just a guy, who got his heart broken, and a new love who tries to fix it for him.
And the topics that touches, are also everyday issues you face after a certain age.
The realisation that "mr. right" is not someone who checks all the boxes you had in your list (rich, successful etc), but someone who gives you "peace of mind", "makes you smile" and "makes you happy" (and you find attractive obviously π) . And that someone is hard to find. That true romance is hidden not in fireworks and expensive gifts, but in someone's efforts to never make you upset or angry.
Also, that social and economic differences do play a role in a relationship. I really enjoyed Toto and Kanit's conversation about it. It doesn't mean you can't be together, but you have to address it and find a solution. And I think we see both couples do exactly that. Comprise, change and try to find each other in the middle.
That's why, although I know we see Toto be head over hills for Kanit, I find Kanit's love for Toto underrated. The way he sees Toto for what he truly is, the way he appreciates him and how willing he is to sacrifices parts of himself just to be with him. He respects him, fully accepts him, he is ready to support him and back him up (against his friends, family etc). They are both doing the work for their relationship and it's beautiful to watch.
As for the references I love them too!!! I am watching this on Viki and I was so disappointed that no one commented on the umbrella part! It was indeed hilarious π
ps sorry for my super long post, I got excited π
Veha never actually apologized to Kanit, right? Every time they met, he just looked sad and didn't say anything.…
I'm guessing it's not just their second meeting. Three months have passed, so maybe they've met a few times in the meantime, through Akki. Kanit, I think mentions that Veha realised his mistake, so probably he already apologised, we just didn't get to see it π€·π»ββοΈ Or at least I hope!

I am in my 30s and for us, let's call us first generation BL fans π , it's always a treat when series showcase actual adults, do average adult things, navigate everyday life, work, relationships etc.
TayNew were the couple who introduced me to Thai Bl series (and BL series in general), and to see them open the door for all young BL actors, to still be active and popular in their 30s, have a career even when they grew a little bit older, to play more mature main roles and overall keep the fandom and industry alive, is so beautiful and hopeful π

Me too!!!! I have edited my whole watch list with only happy ending series, cause I simply don't do sad endings with my BLs π

It's purely a pro forma marriage, and the sister/bride hates the ML π€·π»ββοΈ
