They afraid Yui could overshadow Ai, that's why they buffed Ai with Cinderella story one after another. But I agree they didn't need to make Yui so painful to watch, better off sending here somewhere we never need to see all the painful parts. And if you're familiar with the writer, he tends to mash up with all relationships toward the end of his shows, it's unnatural asf but he always manages to get us some good laugh even so.
omg Yui's plot got wrecked over and over. It's so frustrating, irritating & painful to watch her hardship. ofc Yui could outshine everyone incl. Aki if she ever made it to Tokyo.
He's genius, found him many times when i look up who's behind the show. Such an international treasure (speaking for many of us here aren't Japanese, are we?)
know her from Life 2007, rediscover in Ojisan ga Watashi 2022, sad her career isnt up to her tatent. she's a solid actress, up there to the top in acting.
