I don't think it should be called 'boys love' if they explore such deep themes. I'm not saying BL shouldn't be complex. What I'm saying is I think there needs to be a more mature word than boys because that noun underestimates the potential these types of shows have to explore complex themes. Don't you think the word 'boy' sounds a little infantalising?

I think MDL should've mentioned that the 'traumatic event' which 'plunged him into a terrifying darkness' was rape. I think leaving it too ambiguous like that is not very safe.Or maybe it's just my fault cuz I was too eager to watch a new movie and I skipped reading the tags.
