I was dreading watching this show since I have this habit of finishing if I start something regardless if the show is good or bad... so 63 shows was quite a task.
I was skeptical and was getting disheartened the first few episodes since it was just not grabbing me. After episode 5, I ended up binge watching the rest - lol. This was my first Chinese fantasy drama and I was impressed on the depth of the storyline. The characters were all interesting and the chemistry was great.
For a fantasty drama, this was very good. One thing I didn't like was the last episode. I wished they put some thought on how they were able to connect again.
So I do recommend trying to get past the first few episodes and you'll end up wanting to watch to see how it all plays out.
