Title Iryu Sosa
I just wanted to say that I absolutely love this series! It's kind of difficult to watch for those who don't understand Japanese (such as myself ;.;) because the 3rd season and all of the SPs (I think...) are not subbed but please don't let that stop you from watching the first two series and the fourth seasons which are subbed. I feel like the main characters are all well written and likable. Itomura could be irritating but because of the way he's written and acted he's not but because he could be you can also understand where the characters who don't like him are coming from. I like how every case is solved and it makes you rethink what appears to be and what's really going on. I mean I wouldn't say it's a very deep drama or anything but if you already like police shows you should really try this.

I like Amachan, Toto Nee-chan and Oshin.I would love an Asaora staring Kuroshima Yuina or Matsuoka Mayu or Yoshimoto…
I COMPLETELY agree about Matsuoka Mayu! I've thought about it before. She is still young but not too young and with a mature enough look to handle realistically playing a character over many years, I am kind of put off by the casting in Beppin-san and Warotenka of 19 year olds for characters they will play in to their old age and also Hanbun, Aoi of a 17 year old playing a divorced mother...

This is a good article! XD I love asadora, I just started watching them last year and I've seen Carnation, Gochisousan, Asa ga Kita and I'm working on Gegege. So far my favorite has been Gochisousan so if anyone is looking for another rec I 100% rec that one. I put off watching asadora for a long time because of the episode count but once you get in to them you see it isn't so bad. I usually have 1/2 hour to an hour to watch something in the morning so asadora are perfect to squeeze in a few episodes every day. I always find the acting in them good too, even actors you think aren't good in other things can really shine in them (like I don't particularly think Anne or Haru are anything special but they did fantastic in their lead roles), so I feel like the directors and writers are really doing something right.
