Loving you is painful, but if it means I can love you for one more day, I will.

As an avid drama watcher, I can vouch for this drama if you're looking to start watching one. It's the perfect choice for you.

Story-wise: There's no doubt that it offers one of the best, most complex, and captivating storylines. In summary, it revolves around a painful love where the characters are willing to sacrifice and even die for each other. If you're seeking a love story that takes you through the highs of heaven and the lows of hell, this is it. The dialogue in this drama is highly quotable, filled with life and love lessons throughout.

Wardrobe-wise: This drama stands out as one of the best historical dramas, I promise. The robes, capes, and other wardrobe pieces, as well as the accessories, headpieces, and makeup, are all top-notch. Although in some episodes, you may notice a bit of heavy makeup on TTJ, as his character needs to appear pale, resulting in a very white complexion.

Acting skills: Let me assure you, the performances by BL and LYX, who portray lovers and enemies at the same time, are absolutely brilliant. They bring each character to life in their respective life stages with great skill. What's remarkable is their chemistry, which only grows stronger, and you can truly feel their emotions through the screen. My only concern is that LYX seems too skinny, which bothers me. Did he even take care of his health? Regardless, my poor baby truly gave his best in every aspect.

In conclusion: Just go ahead and watch it. It's worth every hour of your time.

I HAVE REWATCH IT COUNTLESSLY

I don't love any drama this much, but Word of Honor is a LEGIT adaptation.
Despite some differences between the original novel and the adaptation, both have been beautifully made.
This drama contains a deep, deep emotion conveyed through witty, sassy yet lovely, and warm convos between the main characters.
I watched the other drama if you know what I mean, but WOH stunned me as I could not move on.
There's something in the chemistry between the two male leads, and also the chemistry of the WHOLE cast is also not a joke.
How the plot is unraveling, interlinked, and affecting every part of it.
In summary, this drama is a word of love poem embodied into two people named Wen Kexing and Zhou Zi Shu.

A Multilayered Love Story Spiced Up by Hate, Greed, Intrigue, Power, and Loyalty

"Moonlight Mystique" is a captivating drama that excels in several key areas. The multilayered characters, each with distinct backgrounds and motivations, create a rich tapestry of relationships and internal conflicts. The narrative is filled with countless complex decisions and explores themes of loyalty and betrayal in compelling ways.

The music is a standout feature, perfectly capturing the melancholic undertones of the story and seamlessly adapting to the shifting moods of each scene. The costume design is equally impressive, with each period and arc showcasing distinct and visually appealing styles and color palettes.

The acting performances are truly remarkable. The actors and actresses effectively convey a wide range of emotions through their eyes and gestures, bringing depth and nuance to their characters. Specially Baishuo as the street-smart girl combined with the overprotective-logical man like Fan Yue, is the best combi to handle all the challenge ahead.

Finally, the CGI, while a risk, is generally well-executed and enhances the visual spectacle of the drama.

"Moonlight Mystique" is a highly recommended watch for those who enjoy intricate storylines, strong character development, and a visually stunning presentation.

Ps: BL & ARP visual is just too stunning to be skipped!
