Finished this novel and I adore it so much I'm scared of drama adaptation. (I'm scarred from Zhaoyao) It becomes my favourite Jiu Lu Fei Xiang's works. Angsty, bloody, tortured but beautiful sacrificing love with logical misunderstandings. No stupid decisions that makes you frustrated.

Heard about Leo Luo and hope for someone else. Shirtless Leo is a big no for me. I remember the scene he was chained in AOL, skinny, worn out Leo is not attractive at all. His face is beautiful enough but, tbh, when I read I imagined someone with well toned body. Someone that still utterly charming even in the worst condition.

Imo, I don't think WYB fits the role. He's too young and too pretty to be Dongfang Qingcang. Should it be more mature, with manly look, strong built and murderous eyes.

I quite like Jiu Liu Overlord since they got interesting plot around different classes. I mean, in a bigger picture than ML vs FL families. Anyway, the progression of MC romance is way too slow.

BARP is fun to watch, lighthearted. ZZH is more expressive in this role than he was in LYX.

So far both FLs are kinda annoying. One is overly stubborn, the other is pretty stupid.

Yep, too stupid. She doesn't wary of Prince An even a bit even though her shifu frustratedly told her to stay away off him just the day before she died.

Totally agreed. I really love LQL character development towards lower class and LAY. I love the way he looks at our FL when she's throwing her business ideas, like a proud dad LOL.

On the other hand, our FL progression is a bit too slow at this point. Perhaps the script writers want to show more of her stubbornness but it started to bug me somehow.
