Hahaha. The foundation of this drama is the revival, survival and development of a losing company. The struggles to make it a known brand again. They made Free unicorn, which was the mother company as their opponent, tried scheming.

In short she doesn't have any more money because she has given up her inheritance to pay debts of their mother company. Eventhough she bought TY but the land is not included. So as a bargaining chip of the investor who bought the land (XS), she has to give 51% and will not pay the rent of the land. She can decline it but she has no other option. No one at the moment can help her for the rental. So she took the bait. And because XS is an investor, his actions and plans would be at their own advantage.
They have to move because that is the exit monetization proposal given by XS to his boss MR.DU. the land is not included, it is a different business proposal. ANEDA rushed the process of acquisition of TY so it did not take 2years.

Yea, exactly. This drama is close to reality with their struggles and battles dealing business or personal life. Sometimes we made decisions imperfectly and we will learn from it. That is why this drama hit the core of the viewers who watched and will watch. The OSTs though made the atmosphere of the scenes nostalgic and enticing.

Yeah. You will be impressed of his skills. He won't be the known youngest successful investor if he is not super smart with all his strategic plans.
Isn't it he already planned it out when he started wooing JH? I believed it is when he invited her to have dinner at the milk tea/hotpot restaurant right after he arrived from his business trip. He must be happy about the outcome of his trip and wanted to have dinner with her suddenly.

I believe the gap was more than a year coz JH companies she manages won't be that successful for just a year but more than that. Also the dog, KID, he seems to be over a year old when he came back. Yes,
he started a new investment company with his business partner Gary whom he met while he was abroad.

In regards to romance, you won't expect that you would also fall with them. The way ML flirts with her, with his naughty conversations, teasing and the way he stares and looks at her, you will see admiration and love in his eyes towards the FL. Chemistry was unexpected. They are really match visually and of how charming the FL here, their onscreen chemistry really jive well. Even the ending, eventhough the HE was short but it fit the entirety of the story to end like that. After all the struggles they both have that was building overtime would just be fitted to have that kind of ending. A very nice, well written, directed, produced, acted, business romantic film for a chinese drama. I believed this was part of their entry in a Canne Film Festival early this year.

The director is a bit stingy to us. Hahaha. Not even a hug for the viewers and fans to enjoy the ending. 😋

Yes. His ex gf played the part for us to understand what XS as a BF but I believed, at the first ep, he is already infatuated with JH's character and her being smart in dealing with the business. He seems like he started to see himself through JH. The way she maneuvered the livestream show for the Free Unicorn at that time. And as the episodes progressed, he saw the vulnerability of JH during those hard times. He usually thought that this woman was just a spoiled rich heiress, until he fell into his trap of falling in love with her after that first drunk kiss, from infatuation to falling in love.

There was this scene that made XS realised these things, it is the scene with XZY her asking why is he there. Then he replied I wanted to feel/experience what JH felt/experienced. He talked about how old the structure of TY, referring to mgt and employees. XZY replied, the success of TY was because of these old employees (referring to their craftsmanship, hard work and dedication). And then XZY said her last piece, the only person who has the right to decide the future of TY is only JH. Because JH value these employees and her relationship with them.

It meant that, the difficulties started with JH. She has encountered all the problems, odds and failures. But to overcome these, she has to come up with innovative designs and this is when XZY comes in the picture. That is why it said "Running against the wind. Beginning with JH. When rising with the wind, XZY will be there for you."

That ending though, should be at least a kiss.

What I meant about his family owns a company is that he is already a rich kid. You won't be offered management partner if you won't be a major shareholder of the company who offered you the position. Nobody will respect you by only contributing your expertise and time. That's how it goes to keep/secure your position if ever your expertise are no longer valuable in the future esp. in the world of Finance.

He is rich because he has been in the industry for quite sometime and to be offered as a management partner for a big investment company, you must be equally rich to give a huge some of money to hold a share of your company. Also, their family owns a cup factory.

My bet it will be a short HE because ML left and the only best way to end is for them to meet in the future

JH has been spoiled by her dad growing up so in they eyes of everyone that have been working with them still see her as a kid/child, as what her Aunt Yue said to XS during their talk, eventhough she has all the energy, determination, vigor to accomplish things she is still a kid. She hasn't experience hardship until her dad's passing. To learn to handle things or to know how to deal business well doesn't come overnight or in a short period of time and be considered an expert.

You could say emotional abuse but that is how True Drama should be. Will create chaos in once emotions/feelings.

They will meet again in the end.

Yea it will be aired tonight there were posters showing that particular scene. She visited those places that were important to them both, the rooftop, the milk tea/hotpot restaurant. Huhuhu 🥹 it will definitely a heart wrenching end before they will meet again.

I don't think that was her bargain to change her mind and realise that she still love him but the thought of XS did everything he could to keep TY and sacrificed his career over his love for her. The car thing was just a prop to use coz she has no car to chase XS. She thought that XS is heartless over everything that happened but she did not realise that XS is deeply in love with her.

Ohhh. I thought it will be aired tonight which will be his last kiss before he will leave everything and be gone. I thought wrong.
