so it has been proven that the real villain is actually Choi Mundo (eg: wanting to kill Kang Dansim back in Joseon era & possibly harming Cha Segye in 2026). Both Seori & Segye are just misunderstood villain.

Really love the current pace of the first 2 episodes. Hope they will maintain it till the end,

my heart breaks for the OG Shin Seori. She really led a tough life. I’m glad Kang Dansim is choosing to live the best life for the sake of OG Shin Seori and also for herself.

Shin Seori is 30 tho, it was on her CV. Kang Dansim (aka her joseon counterpart) was 20 something. There was a scene where she said she aged so bad.

Lim Jiyeon truly deserve all the praise. I can never imagine other actress as Shin Seori/Kang Danshim. No wonder the production team think of her and only her as Shin Seori cuz she really can embody the character too well.

Heo Namjun is doing great. Very charming but also surprisingly humane with his funny antics through the banter with Shin Seori and his interaction with his secretary and his grandpa. He did well.

I will be rooting for our Shin Seori & Cha Segye!!!!!!

the first episode is well done. The pace is kinda fast but it doesn’t feel rushed. The chemistry is too good. They truly prove that you can never fake chemistry between main leads. Seated for the second episode .

yeah that part got me screaming cuz she was the one who pulled him but he ended up protecting her instead

it’s good, definitely better than the train wreck that EAW was. However the final episode is a bit mehhh.

i saw a comment saying how Heo Namjun can differentiate his eyes when he’s a real villain like Kim Sanghyuk (Your Honour) vs when he’s a funny villain like Cha Segye (My Royal Nemesis). Those who say he can’t act are just being edgy.

he’s Cha Segye’s cousin. They both are competing for the ownership of the Cha family’s parent company. He’s in the construction biz while Cha Segye handles the apparel line. In short, they’re nemesis
