back then during the premiere i watched the first episode and shelved it down cuz i don’t find it intriguing and almost 2 years later here i am regretting myself for not finishing it earlier.
Lee Youmi is truly a good actress, I cannot imagine other actress to bring Jaemi to life like she did. Yes, Jaemi is an annoying character but the way she portrayed her couldn’t make me hate the character at all.
And her chemistry with Woo Dohwan, omg I was giggling the whole time they were together. Truly over the top!!!
For Woo Dohwan, now I do get why people are falling for him. Not a fan of action series like Bloodhounds tho I do finish that series for Lee Sangyi. But damn him in romance like this, the bittersweet one summore, how could I not like him. He can act, he’s charming. That’s good enough.
Not to forget Oh Jung Se, he’s really the cherry on top of this series. You can’t help but to root for him although it’s almost impossible for him to win.
This series is far from perfect but I would say it’s good enough for you to watch it.
I just realised the title “Twinkling Watermelon” represents the element for both Eun Gyeol’s parent. The “twinkling” part belongs to Ha Yichan & the “watermelon” refers to Yoon Cheongah.

no cuz u really summed up Choi Mundo very well in that last paragraph. I hate myself for wavering a bit when he seemed unsettled after not being able to meet his son. I mean he’s a human after all so vulnerable moments should be expected but damn he so evil most of the time tho so yeah I should hate him
