I agree with you... I hated Secret Garden because of Ha Jiwon. I know I'm going against popular opinion but she is terrible. One facial expression and lifeless.

I finally watched Secret Garden after hearing about it for years. I love the writer Kim Eun Sook and have been working back through her dramas. I had just finished the drama Hwang Jin Yi and hated it! All I could think about is the terrible casting of Jang Geun Suk and over-rated Ha JiWon. She looked every bit of her age and he looked like he was 12!
I wanted something lighter so I started Secret Garden without looking at the cast. I was so sorry - there she was again stone-faced Ha JiWon. I did watch the whole drama and I kep t hoping it would get better, but no. I just didn't like it, I didn't like the characters or the cast. This is one over-rated drama and I was very disappointed. I watched Ha JiWon scowl her way through Damo, Hospital Ship, Hwang Jin Yi and Secret Garden. I just don't think she is a good actress.

I didn't like this drama either. I wanted to watch it since it's so popular but it didn't live up to the hype for me. And Ha Ji-Won is not a good actress. She has the same blank, stone face for most of this drama, the same as Damo, Hwang Jin Yi, and Hospital Ship.
