Let me clarity, I know she's not, I was primarily talking about the actress who is playing the two characters. So OEY
But I'm just saying my main frustration is the focus on her and the guy and their love story when it's not really their love story we should be focusing on. We've barely seen YCA, even though she's a MC. That being said the fact that we've seen the bandmates more than her is sad. After he came back in time for his parents, not just his father.
Why do you think he went back? I mean he has been working on getting his parents together, he saved his dad....now…
Okay but there barely focusing on YCA, and yet she's a main character. How can she be when we see her less than supporting cast - that's my main worry. There spending too much time on the love story
My only problem with the show is how I feel like they are focusing way to much on HEG and OEY storyline especially CSK, and its taking time on the main reason why he went back. Right now it's just a love story, I still like the show but it annoys me a bit.
Okay but why the heck did they give her speed!? I feel like it ruins the point of the title but also the OG story, like how they were given the power of strength
I do really like the show, but my problem with the show was how the kids were more focused on than the parents. Obviously the show was split 1 -7 = kids, 7 - 16 = parents, 16 - 20 = coming together (something like that). But my problem is that I think we spent too much time on the kids than the parents. The parents are the ones with all the information, they know what's going on. And having the kids learn this on the way would've worked well, but that didn't happen. The kids didn't learn about anything until the last couple of episodes. 1 -7 was more of romantic story more than anything, the kid with incredible strength, he should've gotten more screen time.
Like I said I did really liked the show, I thought it was written well, and the entire storyline was great but just wished they knew where to put more focus, or share the focus at least. Thats just my opinion.
Did the original also had the gay plot ? I saw a comment say it was because of netflix drama, but the way the…
It's hard to explain for it to make sense if you haven't seen the show, so Ill try to do my best but basically - ML plays two characters, one from the past, one from the future same thing for FL she plays two characters one from the past, one from the future.
ML from past gets into a car crash and goes to the future, the body he goes into is gay. Now basically his story is that he has this crush on this guy (Rowoon plays love interest) and his character also likes him back. There both are at school studying and both don't express how they feel for one another, until this car ride. In this car ride they accidentally touch hands, and then eventually they holds hands; they were finally embracing the feelings they have for each, but sadly they get into a car accident and Rowoon character dies. With this car crash that means the ML from the future switches memories and soul I guess from the past... it's a bit confusing but basically the main lead male does not become gay or anything is just that's he's in the body that was gay. If any of that makes sense.....

Okay I'm gonna assume you've finished the show, and hopefully this is a good explanation >< So like the FL, the ML switches bodies with the future person. Now the person he switches bodies with is gay. And so when he goes back to the time the show takes place (I forgot what year) he falls in love with someone. But this person he likes does not like him back, not at all and actually thinks it's gross that he likes him, so the ML gets bulled for being gay. By the point where he decides to kill _________. Now this entire storyline is done without dialogue and at the end of this short story this quote appears “I hope one day, this world will change, and that no matter who I like, it won’t be strange anymore.” The end.
Nothing will be as perfect as something you already love it, that's why when they announced this with 2 of my…
I was mainly comparing the two shows for people who are giving this show a bad rating because they watched the original. I wanted to give my voice as someone who has seen the OG but also watched this and say it was a good remake.
Because I don't agree with the rating right now. I think it should be higher.
Someday or One Day is my favorite Taiwan drama ever. That being said I had low expectations for this show, like…
I also have to give huge props to Rowoon! I didn't think they would add the storyline, and if they did I wasn't expecting someone NOT known to play the love interest
Someday or One Day is my favorite Taiwan drama ever. That being said I had low expectations for this show, like how could this drama be better than that masterpiece, right?
Well I think that's exactly what helped when watching this kdrama; I had low expectations. I kept thinking "oh there not gonna do my favorite scene". or "there not gonna add the gay storyline". After finishing the show I had same sort of love that I had for the original. It took me some time to be use to the pacing, but as I watched each episode I was criticizing less and enjoying it more. It seemed as each episode went by the writer was more confident in the story. Slowly the writer added their own take to the beloved remake. Adding their own spin and exciting take on the crazy loophole ride that we go on. The storyline is not destroyed as many remakes do? The original one needed a rewatch for complete understanding but I feel someone who hasn't watched the Taiwan one would understand this because they made Kdrama ver a little more precise and clear.
The acting was amazing especially the last couple of episodes, so many emotions… Props to everyone, especially the main cast as they definitely carried part of the show on their backs.
I wouldn't say it's a perfect remake, but it was still a fun watch! If you’ve never seen the show before I think you’ll enjoy it!

I wouldn't say it's a perfect show, having low exceptions for this show helped
