many people from the village visited Soon-ae, not just her classmates
Yes, but it was the way LSA was expressing her classmates coming, that makes me believe it's a student. She expressed on her room teacher brining the whole class, so she couldn't possible guess who brought the matchbox. But if it were the village, they probably didn't come in a group, but separate.
Another thing is the student was following the trend like everyone else by using the matchboxes, not by asking out but leaving it behind as a warning (to possible not get caught?). Another thing is GMS knows the murderer, and though I believe she pretty much knows everyone in town, I think it would make more sense for it to be classmate of hers.
By the end of every episode I question everything that I thought I figured out... Still have no clue who could…
Im pretty sure the treehouse lady is his mom, but I think she's leaving early then she is suppose to. Because if ML and FL didn't go back in time, the ML father wouldn't be using his time to fix his car - so he is spending less time on the car than his girlfriend, which made her leaving sooner then expected.
So the last scene from ep 13 points out that the killer is a high school student. It makes me wonder if there was a guest role with a line that we didn't pay attention to in the beginning.
Is there any romance development for main leads...?
The romance is subtle but there, like Ivy said. I think the romance between the two leads has began to change after the 10th episode. Its a slow-burn romance but so far it's really well done.
So for anyone who does not know in the 1980 in SK many college students were being murdered, many of them were accused of being NK spies, which led to protesters ( its mainly why people protested but there were other reasons too). Anyway during this time the military was ordered to kill anyone - Everyone who they saw on sight was killed, people who waved the white flag which means surrender would be shot.
There is a movie called A Taxi Driver, which is really good on the subject or you can look up Gwangju Uprising for more information!
*Posting this incase THEORY: Okay so I still strongly believe its a woman who is doing the killings, and after last night I crossed some names on the list who isn't the killer and came up with this idea.
Go Mi Sook (Author) conversation with Baek Hee Seop (father) made me believe that Go Mi Sook isn't the killer. I also had a theory that it could be Kim Hae Gyeong (bully) but after thinking over it, it wouldn't make scene because she would be dead.
And so I came up with the possibility that it's Chung Ah (coffee shop owner). We just learned that both victims were last seen at the coffee place, suspicious. So I thought what if she is possible drugging the victims (this is before the ML and FL when in the past, and because back then they would have no way to track this kind of stuff unless it was physically seen). So she is drugging them, possible following them or not because she lives in the neighborhood she might already know where they live, so she dons't need to follow them around. But my last thing is that the person playing Chung Ah is well known actor, she not a A list but she's been in lots of stuff that I do not think she could have this minor role in this show to make coffee for people. Now I do think if she's not the killer then she will have a bigger role, because like I said she's a known actor. For all I know she might be the third victim, but I still think it weird that we keep seeing her and nothing else, when everything is happening at her store.
i thought it was very silly of the ML to conclude that the person with the blue hat MUST be the killer. you know,…
I mean that was the last person seen with her... it's not stupid to assume the one wearing the blue hat is the killer. Beside usually that is what investigators look for in a case.
