I love the story when the male lead falls head over heels with the female lead. A lot of swoony moments between Bai Feng Xi and Hei Feng Xi. The drama has a balance of romance, fighting scenes, and politics. The CP in this drama is one of my faves. Zhao Lusi and Yang Yang can portray the mischievous, smart, and kind Bai Feng Xi and intelligent, loyal, and yet calculative Hei Feng Xi very well. The moral of the story: Love conquers all. Happiness is where your heart is. <3 <3

Watching this drama is a struggle for me since it portrays the gloomy life of women in the palace. It's like they walk on pins and needles every day. I think I am just gonna drop this.

The drama is definitely on my repeat watch list. I love the chemistry of the main leads very much.
